Yeah I think he still a lyric tenor. This aria is more for a tenor type that is covering F natural, even E. it can be sung without covering F, but then we can see how tiring it can be even for the greats
He can much better with French and Donizetti repertoire

@@Sabininho I think, every tenor shoud cover F natural, it's a passaggio already. (from E to Fis or G).

@@erikfantome6862 there’s no reason for a tenor to cover if he doesn’t need to on F or even G. Of course when you start to get beyond G, pretty much all tenors will need to cover. But an open F is one typical plus of a lyric tenor. Making every tenor cover on the same note makes no sense, because voices are built differently. Making a singer cover earlier than the voice wants can hinder them from releasing the voice to its full potential

Desafortunadamente la acústica del escenario no ayuda. El piano ahoga profundamente la voz. Digo estoy como fan #1 de Alagna en muchas otras interpretaciones.

Voce rotta e stanca, voce e acuti incolore,canto aperto e volgare, peccato aveva una bellissima voce all' inizio carriera, adesso risulta quasi inascoltabile.
