The middle break is the trick. the tension in the elastic when putting it back in the pouch is almost as hard as folding the skin. And the Diflector is my favorite skin for it.

Helpful video even after owning a halo reflector for a while. Never knew about folding it from the centre for the elastic's longevity though! I keep mine with a difflector always in my bag.

Watched this a couple of times. That difflector is a game changer for outdoor portraits. The title should be changed to say what its used for, not the product name and let others find it. Its a game changer for outdoor portraits.

Great stuff - this confirmed my decision to buy one. I've been thinking about it for a while but this confirmed that the diffusion skin should be the first choice even if the silver/white seems the standard offering. Good advice on setting up and packing down. These things seem obvious, but common sense and finesse are the key to getting a decent life out of the product.

After watching one of your older videos I finally got one of these (LOVE the concept) but the first time putting one of the skins on, I didn't put my thumb squarely on the clip and got a little too much pressure on the edge of the stitching and it ripped about an inch. Maybe that was just an odd thing but I'm making darn sure from here on I put pressure ONLY on the plastic clip part

Does anyone have a simple idea to remove the plastic clips from the Halo compact ring, I have arthritis and can't remove the clips
