This trio dynamic between bobby, Andrew and Rudy works because it brings a natural authentic relationship to the table. The chemistry is like an unconventional dysfunctional family movie. Bobby is the uncle , Andrew is the uncles best friend and Rudy is somewhat dumped in there to be baby-sat, but fits completely right in with them and their comic banter, idiotic man-child behavior while they unseeingly play role model to their young protege Rudy. 🤣
As a Jiu Jitsu Dad, you can just hear and see Bobby’s passion being able to pour into and share the thing he loves most, with his niece.. creates a special bond
This was a cool peek into seeing Bobby's experience shine through and near the end you can hear the sincerity in his voice and how he can get her to read something off a peice of paper and kill a room. Shows his specialty and craft by letting her shine.
So she really is like just some random teen. Well i know now shes in college, but yeah i agree. She also was great in these older episodes as almost like counter balance to Andrew, and Bobby. She also fit well because how she unless they directly spoke to her she was in the background because often in these type of things 3 people talking start to feel like crowd already

I don’t think she’s pretending not to care. She reminds me a lot of the way I act when I’m feeling shy, I think she’s just really afraid to be embarrassed/rejected so she doesn’t take risks a lot especially in the things she says. Bobby was onto something at the end when he was saying it went better than she expected. She prob didn’t want to admit that because she didn’t feel like she could say it went well because what if someone in the room thought it didn’t go well or she didn’t deserve it? Then her unworthiness would be exposed and she’d be publicly shamed. It sounds complicated and maybe I’m way off but idk that’s how it reads to me. Like she just feels awkward and can’t say “I’m just feeling shy”. It’s hard to explain those things as a shy person. And the thoughts aren’t always rational but they have impact on the way u act.
