Great video! Let Me In sounds fantastic to me. The way you described it even without giving anything away got me creeped out and so intrigued.

Awesome video mate, thank you so much for creating a video based on my recommendations. Chad Lutzke writes such incredible emotional horror and coming of age stories. I am yet to read anything below 4 stars and my favorite is Skullface Boy. I am sorry Clive Barker did not work out, but thank you for giving his dark fantasy a try. We are all different and that is absolutely ok! I just re-read NOS4A2 for the third time over Christmas. I had a live chat on my channel. It will always be 5 stars for me. I recommend Heart-Shaped Box. Have a wonderful 2025 my friend! 📚

Really need to get into some more horror myself, especially after falling head over heels in love with The Nightmareland Chronicles by Daniel Barnett last year! Let Me In sounds terribly good hahah. Thanks for sharing all the thoughts!!

@@bardsandbooks Highly recommend them on audio narrated by Adam Gold, though only the first three are out in that format so far!

Awesome video Usman! Sad to hear about Imajica. It’s been on my list for a while. I’m still going to try it someday. Weaveworld as well. I absolutely loved The Hellbound Heart and The Thief of Always. My girlfriend is reading NOS4A2 right now, and is really enjoying it. When I went to San Francisco Alcatraz was closed to the public. I was so bummed. 😢

Thanks, Chas! Alcatraz was interesting but the book was even better than the tour! Hope you have a fantastic reading year, cheers 🤘

Imajica does drrrrrrrrrrrag on. Exposition on level 100. I'm almost finished with it. It is an extremely compelling book that has some heavy themes but the plot just putters along. I'm wondering if they got paid by page count cause this one would be excellent if it was heavily trimmed up. Well Joe Hill has now entered by TBR. Thanks man!!

Agreed, it’s got some great elements and good writing but might have been better heavily trimmed. I think you’ll have a great time with Nos4a2! I have Heart-Shaped Box on the shelf too, might give that a go sometime
