- We are kicking off another weekend in January with a walk across the top of the iconic Tower Bridge in London. Once of the most famous bridges in the world! Today I take the full tourist tour up the bridge, showing you what you get for the bargain price of £11!! Including walking on the crazy glass floor! Let's see if it's worth it?

Great posting very interesting thanks Hannah 👍❤️👍
Great video, congratulations on walking on the glass part of the bridge I would be far too scared! I agree with you that £11 is a really good price for the tour and it`s totally interesting. You show such pride and pleasure living in the city of London which always make your videos such a joy to watch, thank you.
Thanks so much! 😊
So glad your back. Love seeing London with you and since returning you seem different. More professional and confident. I love your asides and views. And you always make my laugh. There is so much in your videos. I hope the twice a week works out. But don’t run yourself down doing it. I’ll be watching them all.
So much respect for the workers of old.
They are the heroes of the world and wish we could thank them.
Hi Hannah, Thank you so much for a lovely vlog. I went to the top tower bridge in London in 2018. I LOVE LONDON. I really miss LONDON a lot. It's my favorite city in Europe ❤🇬🇧❤ Thank you again, Happy Friday, and have a great weekend 😊5 times you said (Flippin Heck 😀)
I would have to say that was far better value than the tour of the Battersea Power Station, so informative - big thumbs up for the Tower Bridge and you Hannah 😊
Big Time.
That looks a much better experience than the Battersea Power Station Lift. Yep, that's on the list of things to explore when I'm next in London.
WOW! All your vlogs are brilliant, but this one was somehow even better! It looks WAY better value than the lift at Battersea. Thank you so so much! Hope you have an awesome weekend and week. I must be honest, I forgot it was video night, but opened RUclips only to find you! Brilliant! 😎😎😎
High Hannah
Loved the trip to Tower Bridge.
You are a super tour guide.
Scary glass walkway!
Trip to Hampton Court would be great.
Well, this was absolutely wonderful. Yes, the mayor/tourist board should be recognizing your beautiful vlogs.
What a proper tour of Tower Bridge! So impressed with the value for money and all the historic information! Thank you so much for taking us along on the tour 💜☺️
I went up there a few years back , took my dad during one of his visits with me , not a fan of the glass walkways and actually one of the staff wouldn't walk on the glass either and I said to him that he was as afraid as I was. If you want an amazing view, try the viewing platform of The Shard it makes The London Eye look like it's part of a toy set , views from the Sky Garden, the Emirates Airline Cable Car and the Duck and Waffle restaurant of The Heron Tower are also fantastic 👍
Thanks for these ideas!
I will try and remember what you suggested when I visit London next.
Hannah you are so much fun to listen to and great in your descriptions and explanations. Thanks. My stomach was a little bit jumpy when you stepped out on the glass. I am a very bad heights person. 👍🏻❤️❤️
Steve & Veronica
Love London we love your videos
You show places of interest that we will look forward to visiting 😎
The city skyline has changed so much in recent years. That was fun to watch, although not sure about the height. Have walked over Tower Bridge many times, so interesting to see from another perspective.
Your tours are always so enjoyable! This was so interesting, I think my husband would especially like to do this tour.
Thanks Hannah. What a great experience. I wish I'd done that tour when I was in London 5 years ago. You have to admire the Victorians for their engineering. I've always loved Tower Bridge and Big Ben. Greetings from Western Australia.
Good video, original built about the time that Arthur Conan Doyle would have Sherlock and Watson crossing the bridge in a hansom cab. City looks cleaner than it would have in late Victorian, when everyone would have been burning coal, very pretty sky as you looked out.
Hello Hannah! Great to see this video... I've never seen inside the Tower Bridge, so thanks so much for that. Glad to hear you're going to attempt more trips out and about - so looking forward to where ever those journeys take you! 'Til next time!
Such an amazing piece of engineering - So much combined effort to build. Could really feel the Victorian vibe - thanks Hannah.
Yes this was wonderful! I would love for you to go to Trinny London and get a tour of her offices and to her pop up shop and do the Match To Me makeup tutorial and film the whole thing! Love your content! Thank you! 😊🙏🏼
Don't forget Hannah a family of 4 visiting , the cost adds up, not many people visit these attractions alone. Great video , well done.
You make us feel like we are there! Thank you...really enjoyed it. 🇨🇦❤
Haven't been to London in 35 years! The skyline has really changed. Thanks, Hannah, that was such a fun tour!!!
I didn’t know that people could walk across the top!!!!
Hopefully my Sister and I will get to be there in the fall. And we will go up and across!!!!
We’ve been to London many times, but you have definitely given us knew ideas of places to see. Thank you so very much!
Awesome tour Hannah! This is definitely one I'd enjoy and for £11.40, amazing value! I actually thought that it finished after you came back down, but to then be able to head to the engine room afterwards is brilliant... I would've been happy just being up on the bridge! 🤣 The Battersea viewing deck really is a rip off compared to this, plus there's no time restraints either! Thanks Hannah 🥰
Hannah, what amazing and interesting themes you chose for this begining of 2023!!! I liked them a lot!. This tour really worthies it so much and the price for the ticket is good in my opinion. The Tower Bridge is a very beautiful construction and so iconic, besides being a very famous landmark of London. Again, you did an excellent job showing everything inside the bridge! Hannah you're the best! Have a wonderful friday!
Thank you so much!!
That looks like a really great trip!
Another good one is to use the TFL water taxi from the cable car, which is good, right down to bank, great on a lovely day
Really enjoyed this video
I did the Sydney harbour bridge climb at sunset many years ago as a tourist (I'm a Brit) Amazing! Just like Tower Bridge 😉
Hi Hannah...Happy Friday! Great job Hannah on taking the time to show all the views and history as you went along. A while back I watched another video on Tower Bridge and thought it would be a fantastic place to walk across & your video didn't disappoint really enjoyed it (although I don't think I could walk on the glass). But flippin heck this was fun to watch...you can never say it enough! 😊Thank you so much for sharing and taking us along! Have a wonderful weekend! Lots of love Kathy x 💖
This was a really interesting video. Thank you so much for filming. I also like the quirky music in between. Reminds me of your British show W1A.
Thank so much!
Hi Hannah,
You asked for suggestions. Have you ever visited the Museum of Brands Lancaster Road Notting Hill? I imagine this would interest you, as you are very interested in retail, also you seem very interested in the packaging and presentation of products. I’m sure many of your viewers would also enjoy seeing this museum.
Hannah, I am also scared of heights. I admire how brave you were to go up there and show us the awesome views, and the whole bridge is so cool! You rock!
Fantastic tour of the Tower of London! Stunning architecture and engineering! Thanks Hannah!!!❤
Hannah I agree! An excellent value for the history lesson and amazing views. Brought back nice memories of my visits to London. Thank you ❤❤❤
I'm game to see anything you'd like to show us! Maybe the Thames flood barrier? It could combine with Greenwich!
This was super cool! I appreciate how you always give us the historical context and all of the fun facts available wherever you go.
I loved watching this! I appreciate getting to see parts of London that I may not ever get to see. Not going to lie I wouldn’t be able to walk over the glass part on the floor. I would cry. Can’t wait for next week! ❤
Im love 😍 London UK 🏴
brilliant vlog Hannah of the workings of Tower Bridge and history, carry on a similar theme with a vlog from the National maritime museum at Greenwich possibly taking the Uber boat down there and view London from the river
Loving this vlog series. I’m afraid of heights as well but I think I will do that in October when I’m out there again. Have a great weekend.
Please do more of the Cotswolds. There is so much to see in ALL the areas that make the Cotswolds. I am from the USA and love to see all through your lense and your information. Also you were very brave doing some of the glass walk. Great video it was like I was walking with you.
Wonderful tour Hannah! On previous trips to London we have never thought to do the tour. I will be there in September/October and that will be one of the first things we do!!
I have been up there quite a few years ago!! Would love you to go to the shard ! Friends tell me yea up there is fun ! Have fun!!
What an incredible bargain - so interesting, although I have to admit to looking away when you on the glass part! Absolutely love these vlogs - learning so much about my home city! Thank you, again!
Fred Dibnah is a British national treasure. Watching him climb ladders and fasten platforms around chimney tops made my knees wobble a bit. Really a striking contrast between old and new architecture in views from that bridge. Thanks for posting.
Hi Hanna!
Thank you for an awesome trip to the iconic Tower Bridge. It makes London, London. I'm more than happy no matter where you take me, always a fun adventure. I enjoy London through you.
CHEERS!
Thank you so much for this one! I did that bridge tour over 10 years ago on my first trip to London. Now I want to do it again, especially as the landmarks and buildings along the river have changed quite a bit over the last decade. Aside from Greenwich, yes, I'd love for you to give the Shard a go. I've had it on my list for the last 2 trips but since I'm never quite sure how best to navigate it, I've put it off. I'm 100% confident that you'd go at it with the same gusto and curiosity as I would, so watching you navigate it would no doubt ensure I go (or not, if you find it not worth it!) next trip (which might be later this year).
coolness Hannah!.....enjoyed this very much!.....I love all your video's.....I'd like to see some driving countryside outside London
Suggestion: St. Dunstans in the East but go on the weekend so that it won't be crowded. Also, St. Bartholomew the Great. So amazing!
Oh dear, now I really want to do this, but I’m so afraid of heights 😫 I had no idea that Tower Bridge was so beautiful inside, and the interactive displays and the way the information is presented is spot on.
You should be paid extra for these vlogs, Hannah, because you are really selling London to even a city-hater and confirmed provincial like me 👍
Ms. Hannah, when it's decent outside, take a trip to Windsor and give us a walkabout since the Queen passed .. .. Or, the National Gallery and my fave place, Muriel's .. .. I miss Muriel's Kitchen @ South Kensington, down the street from the Royal Albert Hall .. ..
Hannah your walking tours of London are always very entertaining & fun! Thx so much for sharing this amazing insight into the Tower Bridge, as well as all the fantastic views of London from that vantage point! Hannah as always, I look forward to your next vlog on Friday! In the meantime, have a great week!!!
TANKS HANNA !
As always GREAT!Vlog. You have so many things to see there. Thanks again.
Thank you hannah
Oh wow! This was amazing to watch Hannah!! 😍❤️
Hello Hannah, I truly enjoyed this vlog. I would never walk on those glass floors. lol. I'm also afraid of heights. Keep your vlogs coming, you always have very interesting videos.
This was a really interesting video. I can’t say I would have thought it would be as fascinating as it truly is. Great job as always
Fantastic tour Hannah. I don't think my knees could take going up the stairs but I could manage going down. The elevator would be so easy but after you showed us all the fun facts and architecture on the way up I feel I'd really be missing the best bits.
That was so cool Hannah thank u so much, yeah U did it despite yr fear of heights and water,we all appreciate this tour, yep that’s good value for money..loving all the tourists things of London,..have a great day
Thank you! This is on my bucket list.
Nicely done as always Hannah. Yeah, I'd be a bit nervous with the glass bottom floor. The views are magnificent. Keep up the good work. Look forward to your next vlog. Your friend Mike.
Thanks so much! 😊
I'm afraid of heights, so I'm so thankful to you for ignoring the height and taking us along on this tour!
Great video and a good value ❤
I am terrified of heights! Thank you so much for your bravery! i’ve never seen the inside before. It is really very beautiful. The glass floor looks terrifying to me! The men that worked on this had to have been so brave! I really like the views through the glass floor! Thank you for being so brave to walk on it for us! I look forward to all the other places you’ll be going to this year. Love from Vermont
Hannah, that was awesome! I didn’t know you could tour the Tower Bridge. I live near the Grand Canyon West with the skywalk, I haven’t even thought about walking on that. Thanks for taking us along! 😳❤️
This is fantastic - I really want to do this tour now! Time to book a trip to London - it’s been too long. Thanks for another brilliant vlog Hannah x
Awesome video Hannah!❤
Loving these touristy videos
Loved this tour Hannah! I would love to see anything in London! Museums and maybe one of those tea party buses tour? ✨❤✨
Loving the history! I homeschool my girls and this is so good to pop on on a Friday.
Thank you Hannah!
This was so exciting! I have this on my list for our visit in Sept. I would love to see Seven dials area and the Uber boat trip. Thanks for the lovely vlogs. It’s a joy to watch you each week!
I just got back about 3 weeks ago after spending the Christmas holidays (You can see some of my vids if you click my name and go to my channel..they're no where near as good as Hannah's). Did the Uber boat tour. It was ok, just much too crowded (as are so many things in London). It's one of the things I kinda wish I'd skipped, just because it was impossible to get any decent filming in due to the people standing in front of you.
Hopefully in Sept it'll be a bit less crowded, being sort of "between seasons". My own "must sees" are the Victoria and Albert, the Tower, Westminster Abbey, and St. Pauls.
Safe travels and Cheers!
@@SH4D0WC4T thanks for taking the time to reply and let me know about the Uber boat. The other items are on our list!
I spent 2 weeks working in London in 2005 but had limited free time to site see. My office was in the building up river from the Tower of London right next to the old London Bridge site. As a result, I could walk to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge during lunch. I took the same tour as your video so it was great to see the inside of the bridge again. I love London and hope to go back real soon. Thanks for the video.
This was a great tour Hannah. I enjoyed the history bits about the Tower build and I think the decals on the windows outlining the buildings in the area was a brilliant idea.
I got a bit of a visceral thrill from seeing through the glass walkway. That's an impressive bit of engineering, Hannah, hot rivets and all. I wonder how many more hundreds of years it will be standing. That was a wonderful overview and good value as you mentioned. The gherkin holds mystery, for me. I'd like to see the inside of it. Is that possible? Impressive, your cold weather cycling! Sans gloves! See you next time.🙂
It's mainly offices! There is a restaurant I'll show one day!
@@HannahRicketts Thank you Hannah.
Another fantastic video! I would love to see your take on Hotels in the central London area. You’re the best! A
I did Tower bridge a few years ago, great experience. Yes, also great views from The Shard. A little expensive and having to book in advance it can be a gamble with the weather. As I wanted to take photos and videos at different times of the day and year I purchased an annual pass which makes per visit quite cheap. Also with the annual pass you do not have to book, you just go straight in. Drinks are expensive!
What an interesting video! Great work! Thanks, Hannah! 🇨🇦❤️🇬🇧
Did the Bridge walk a few years back and absolutely loved it, the glass floor freaked me out a bit but it was really lovely, it's always so mind-blowing to me the things they were able to accomplish centuries ago, architecturally...it's truly outstanding also...if you do go to the Shard at some point, afternoon tea at Ting is definitely a must
Really, really enjoyed this one!! Well done! Keep 'em coming .... longer the better. Excellent!
Independent content creators often seem to make more compelling videos than the corporate media do.
Thanks Hannah for sharing 👍👍
I would love to see a video from the Shard, but also from other sites you can just walk around for free. The first Hannah Ricketts video I watched was the Primrose Hill walk and that got me coming back for more.
Friday will be the Shard!
@@HannahRicketts Looking forward to it already.
Greetings from Toronto Hannah. Hope your new year is off to a good start. Looks like a good value and interesting attraction. I would love to see a tour of the BBC if that exists. How about a historic theatre hop tour? The ultimate would be a specialized Art Deco locations tour. Turrah!
So interesting definitely want to pay this place a visit! You should vlog Columbia Road Flower Market and Broadway Market - would be lovely to see some of East London’s highlights too.
I live in the US in Texas so I like any London sites. Keep your videos coming. You are a favorite.
Great video!! I haven't been up there since I was 16 in 1989!! They didn't have the scary glass floors in those days!
Thank you so much Hannah for this video. I never thought doing this tour could be so interesting. Last time I was in London I was passing by thinking it's just another touristy thing I don't need to do. Thanks for proving me wrong :-)
Hannah, I’ve never been inside Tower Bridge before your tour. Really interesting! How is it powered now, I wonder vs. coal and steam in the past. I appreciated that you picked out well-known buildings in the London Skyline. Beautiful views! You were funny when you said’
“Blimey, where’d the rain come from!”
It's electrically powered, since 1976.
@@barneylaurance1865 Thank you very much, Barney!
Thanks Hannah I enjoyed, not sure if
I will ever get there in person so it was nice to see😊
That was fun and fun to watch again as I was fortunate to tour the bridge a few years back and from the top the drawbridge opened and it was so cool to see and I have a video of that entire event. Watching your video makes me want to tour again in my next trip to London ! You always worry about your hair but don't, because you always look so fine !!
I cannot get over the view from the top. Wow, Hannah. Thank you so much for braving the cold.
Hannah só vi este vídeo hoje deve ter sido um passeio maravilhoso, você estava com medo de andar no chão de vidro imagina os operários construindo essa maravilha. Um vídeo simplesmente fantástico. Parabéns mais uma vez. 😘 fique bem. Vai aproveitando as férias. 🫶🏻
That was lovely! Thank You Hannah! Would The Goring Hotel be a possible vlog? 😊
Great job Hannah, very interesting and impressive. Definitely worth the money, great value. Will be visiting on our next trip to London. 😃
Great ticket price makes the Battersea power station tour look even worse value by comparison. Hannah did a wonderful job as always. 😊
Great vlog Hannah!!! places to visit Greenwich, cutty Sark, the chard!! would be interesting to see 🙈
So awesome!! Thank you!! 😊
What a lovely Video Hannah 😊 Nice to see you , sure looks Very Breezy at least the sun out 😜
Eek the Glass walk way 😮 your so Brave 😅 but what a Great day out .
I never seen inside the Tower bridge very very interesting ,thank you for taking us along 😊
Have a Good weekend 🥰
Very interesting & educational Hannah. I would have avoided the glass floors as well, especially over the water. Now I'll have to watch again and count the 'flippin hecks'. Didn't think there'd be a 1 question quiz at th end. 😆 🩷
Loved this video - Mind you my legs went when you stood on the glass. Not too good with heights just the thought of injury if I fell. Steve
