    Hey guys,
Got some great insights from the video!
Could you also throw some light on the success rate of international applicants joining Haas? Also, if CS graduates tend to get PM opportunities after the MBA program?
    Thanks a lot guys!

Hi, I’m currently applying for business majors for UCs. At UC Berkeley, all of the business administration majors comes with another field like bioengineering or civil engineer, however, there is an option of “intending to major in business administration at haas” which is the only one that is not directly under haas. Does that mean if I choose that option, eventually, I would have to major business administration and another field like the other options once I am admitted into haas in my sophomore year?

Hey! I am applying to UC Berkeley. I want to do a business major which is not possible before my sophomore year. I do not wish to pursue the GMP or MET program. Any suggestions as to which major I should choose right now?

Any tips for transfers applying to Haas?

Yes! Check out the Envision Haas program. It connects current transfer students with those interested in applying.

Do you know if it's possible to apply to Haas as a Junior or know anyone that got in as a Junior (non-transfer)?

Yes - I know one girl who applied as a junior and got in, and then stayed longer to finish her haas degree. She’s double majoring in CS and I don’t think she applied as a sophomore at all.

Quick Clarification: So if admitted as a freshman into the Haas Business undergrad program, that also guarantees admission into the grad school for Sophomore and Senior years. Because I’m scared that I wont get accepted as a transfer and is safer to go from the beginning as a freshamn

Most Berkeley students who come in as freshmen aren’t declared business majors until second sophomore year! The only way to (currently) ensure admission from freshman year is to be admitted in the M.E.T. (Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology) Program or GMP (Global Management Program). Hope that helps!

Are students able to study business without Haas? Or is Haas the only way to be a part of business programs?

    • @TheTechTwins

Haas is the only way to study business at Berkeley, but you could apply for some courses without being in the major (though you may not get into some, like marketing or business communication, due to preference for business majors). Good luck!!

There are also Haas-sponsored business clubs which may satisfy what you’re looking for! berkeleyhbsa.org/hso
