ManSoo Ssi, I love this project you took on! I noticed three things you might try. 1. When welding galvanized pipe, brush the rust and paint off and then wash the surfaces with acetone. I realize that you're using fluxcore, but a clean surface always always make the puddle tie the two pieces together that much easier. 2. Try turning up your amperage a little. Your bead seemed a bit thick and your weld looked like it had insufficient penetration. 3. It looks like you have a oil based compressor. You can place a moisture dehydrator between the air source and the intake of your tank. This will pull the water and oil out before it contaminates your sand. Kwon
Another great tool for your collection. Is the plasma cutter new? It looks far more efficient than using your grinder and cutting discs for metal work.
