Luka and Kyrie are masters of fundamentals. Mavs play a pretty simple scheme, but they’re SO good at executing the details because they’ve mastered the basics of basketball. Back to the basics! Dunks, lobs, buckets, passes, defense

I’m a Heat and Mavericks fan so I’m rooting for Dallas obviously. I’ve always liked Minnesota though. They’ve been fun to watch this season and I think they deserve a good team. It’s been a while.
Apart of the. reason OKC had success vs Mavs was SGA was never on Luka or Kyrie. Mavs Knew he would not be tired so they gave him the close range shots without contact knowing that the team needs SGA foul calls to ruin the opposing teams rhythm. Thats why after game 1 SGA never got high free throw attempts Mavs did not want any physical contact on him. Ant will not be able to play 2 way and be elite vs Mavs. Mavs are going to continue to make him a passer and gas him out. The biggest disadvantage for Wolves is they were tired off 2 day rest while having home court and every game from here is only 1 day rest so how are they going to recoup energy especially if they lose game 2 and have to travel? Ant cant guard kyrie it was stupid for him to think that was realistic. Kyrie only drove in on him he never needed to go to his jumper. When Kyrie embarrasses you only using 1 dimension of his game now if you do stop the drive he's going to start going mid range then 3 point shooting and off ball scoring where he is just as elite. You cant double Kyrie like OKC did because the role player will be to open. Wolves role players game 1 were hitting shots and they lost because thats what you want as the Mavs. Wolves won't get that luck because Mavs role players will win you thee games when you double Kyrie and Luka and that is the worst thing that can happen for the wolves as it will show there is no answer.
