Zhanna Block was caught in the Balco scandal and all her results from 2002 (including this race) were DQ'd. Zhanna's body in this race also looks 'blocky' like a man's.

Christine Arron was the real champion in this race. Her dedication to clean running, in a time of doped up cheaters is really worthy of praise. History will judge her very well.

I don't know a sprinter ran as fast as she have for as long as she have.. linford Christi failed the drug test at 38 years old ironically the exact same steroid as Marlene.. both of them in their late 30s so that kind of through a loop in your philosophy..
