    Cool. But the burner was too close to the back of the seat. I would have flipped the sink with the burner even if you're going to push the seat forward when cooking. And I would have put the fan directly over the burner.

    Hi for the ceiling fan ventilation. Is it possible to share some insights on that? If not, I understand. Did you put plywood in between the headliner and roof? So the inside trim can bolt it on? Or is it just going through the headliner to hold ? But ceilings fan is a nice idea and thinking of doing that to my 1st gen sequoia. Anyways thank you for the video that that is a sick build

    Love this build. I have a 2006 Chevy Suburban. Id like this same build but leaving then windows expose (I like to be able to see all around me) ofcourse will need some window coverings. Ill also like to be able to covert the bed into a loveseat, as well as being able to expand the bed to make it a double bed. Where are you locate?

    What are your thoughts on storing propane inside the vehicle?
    How many days did the build take?
    How much did the build cost including materials and labor?

    • @everventurecustom
      @everventurecustom  10 месяцев назад +4

      The customer wanted propane for her stove. We ended up taking it out a few months later and she uses a butane burner now.
      I’ve traveled for long periods of time with a propane tank in my vehicle with no problems but I now people get very worried about it venting off. This is particularly true for boats where the gas has no where to escape. If your parking your vehicle in hot parking lots with no ventilation I wouldn’t put a tank in there but otherwise you just use common sense. Keep the vehicle well ventilated or put the tank outside if it’s extremely hot.
      That build took around 4 weeks
      Each build is priced differently depending on options you want. Typically it starts around $12,000.

    • @everventurecustom
      @everventurecustom  Год назад +7

      Yes, we installed 2 AGM 100ah batteries in the vehicle to power the fridge, fan, lights, water pump, and the inverter.

    Is it safe to have the propane tank inside the vehicle ? I didn't see any venting to the outside

    • @everventurecustom
      @everventurecustom  9 месяцев назад +1

      Having propane in a car or a boat used to be a huge problem. Especially in boats where the tank would get hot and off gas filling the hull where it couldn’t escape. A massive amount of gas would fill the bottom of the boat and one spark would ignite an explosion. Years ago they filled the tanks 100% and that left no room for expansion. Per federal guidelines, they're instructed companies to only fill tanks to 80% capacity to allow propane to expand when external temperatures rise. The hotter it is outside; the more propane expands to fill the extra 20%.
      That being said people should still use common sense and take the tank out if you plan on leaving it parked in a very hot climate with no ventilation.
      The person who owns this vehicle lives in it full time and travels to cool climates year round. I also know lots of van lifers who travel with 20 lb tanks with no problems even in hot climates like Mexico and Guatemala.

Can you please tell me your procedure for insulating a cargo van “from scratch”? There is nothing permanently built in the van thus far. Everything in there easily comes out.
