Can We Fit A Camper INSIDE A Suburban?
👍
Stealth and luxury all rolled into one. Now how much is the damage? 15k?
Very nice build
👌
Can you do this on a tahoe 2004 ?
Yeah how much? I bought my rig for $2800 and have put $26,000 building it so far but this is what I want in the end.
WOW, that is so nice and clean. Love that suburban too. Thanks for sharing.
I think they make it out of aluminum now. I would call them to find out. But the last one I installed was all metal no plastic
What did you think of the plastic faring?was really interested in this rack till I saw that…
It's masterpiece 🔥🔥🔥🔥
omg I've got the same portable toilet lol
where did you find a roof rack like that, what is the name of company that makes it?
Storage under bed cud be only 4".. and that couch moore vertical.. Now u just sitting too horisontal and still your head is near the ceiling. That cud be my camper..💪👍
Tires and rim measure please
Storage hight under bed?
Price.. about? Those rims??💪 Tyre size?
best suburban build ever
I want 💪👍 cost of all this about?...
Where is the link to the owner's RUclips channel? Thank you...
how much would this set up be in 2024? 1999 Sub.
How CNC machine will the floor fitment in extreme perfection
Car fire will equal a “BLEVE” Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion.
Excellent build and impressive detail, however……….. One thing stood out as a major red flag 🚩. A horizontal propane tank right behind the driver seat. Not venting to the outside? Is there a placard outside stating propane tank inside to warn first responders? Guys, I’m not poo-pooing your build at all. Just a MAJOR safety concern for firefighters such as myself.
We ended up taking the tank out a couple weeks later. We realized the same thing.
Pretty sure my feet would be hanging off the edge of that bed.
Do you sell just the legs or the light bar legs
Love it!
Did u construct the bed or buy it somewhere? Thanks
I have a 04 Excursion, about how much do you charge for a setup like that? Interested
The GMT800 is a platform that is going to be around for a very long time within the overlanding and off-roading market. I enjoy seeing everyone's ideas come to life. I have a suggestion for the pull-out work tables. Instead of wood planks with handles why not lift the bed a few more fractions of an inch and lay multiple opened folding tables under the drawers. They're 4' wide when opened and you'd be able to slide 2 or 3 in under the bed. That way you can partially pull one out for a quick work area or pull all three out for multiple tables for cooking etc. The platforms are great but I can't use them without being right under the rear hatch of the SUV. Just wanting to help.
Is it possible to make it where you can sit up straight in the bed and not have to scrunch over. For example, could you get a roof rack and everything you put under the bed move it to the top roof rack so the bed can be lower where you can set up inside of it. And also does that would take up headspace to thank you I’m interested in something like that if possibly you could help me in the future.
You forgot to share his channel
From what company did you buy the aftermarket swivel seat ? Thanks.
How much did that build cost??
Love it. I have a 96 & want to do this. I take all the rear AC plumbing and components are removed?
No I do t remove any of the AC components I just worked around them.
Whats his youtube?
How much would that cost for a 2011 kia sedona?? Great video!
I'm just beginning my own build of a 2010, I wish there were more videos on the side cubbies/removing of the wheel well trim... everyone shows the end product but not the process! You guys do such great work, would love to see more in depth how you do that part
I am in the same boat! I think I could do most of it right now except the cubbies
😳 WOW ! 😳 I have never seen 1999 Suburban before. I love the straight lines and stealth angles. I have ALWAYS had my eyes on a Chevy Suburban and in 2011, purchased a 2007. I don't like the way the windows transition in the back and prefer the doors opening outwards versus upwards like mine. My housemate has been telling me that it is not worth a dime because the Stabil-trak light shows on the dash. The 1st day I got here ( to be in a Vegas show) he took my BRAND NEW DEALER Battery out and told me that I had the wrong battery in my car. I drove back and forth from Utah 5 times in October 2020 and stayed at a B&B 4 days each time and never had any issue with the car starting. 🙄 He also to me that BRAND NEW $750 (each tire) tires belonged on his 2004 truck. 😠💩 So, if Stabil-trak can be resolved, then I will find someone who can do something similar to this because I was trying to figure out if the 2nd row bench seat can be removed easily. I have the other 2 BRAND NEW bucket seats wrapped in my storage. Can someone give me a link to contact a Subur-Convers in Las Vegas area ? I want the ceiling, the cupboards and underbed drawers. Thank you. 949-696-3636
Love the trifold bed set ups! Leaves lots of room for lounging!
How do you get in and out when bed is out?
Air conditioner or place for a generator?
You could put a Dometic AC unit on the roof. It would take up a lot of space up there and you would need a minimum of 4 lithium batteries to run it for a period of time. But it could be done.
No generator or AC? Would be nice in the north but not the south lol
Is it possible to build out the back while leaving the middle row bench?
Yes it is.
Nice job man! Im about to attempt something similar (not nearly as nice as yours) with my 2004 Chevy Suburban 1500 LT (RWD). Im no enthusiast, l’ve decided to live in my Suburban because the cost of living in Los Angeles, California is 100% 😂 And I have some personal goals that require a sacrifice to achieve in a timely manner. So I am about to be enthusiastic about having a power supply system that can run and operate an “outstanding 12 V Air conditioning unit” perpetually, from May to October. I live by Edwards Air Force base, and it is very hot in the “Antelope Valley.” A dry stuffy 105 degrees F. is the comfy average ( in recent years) Also, I have never seen any antelope here. I have seen the thermostat read 155 F inside my SUV with an ambient temperature of 92 F outside. So I think i should try to insulate a lot. And I love the color, but black in the desert is problematic for me, lol.
Look nice but doesn't look like he will be able to fit. I love these builds, when u see the builders have no head room. This young man is taller then the builder. Sitting on the sofa which has no cushion he has no head room at $21,000 this build for show only. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Let the owner show how will be enjoying his $21,000 build. Anyway Enjoy your videos. Be safe.
Could you ballpark what something like this might cost?
I love it ❤❤❤
God, I wish I could afford this.
I have a 2010 Burb and have wanted to do the same for traveling, camping etc. The wifey wants to pull a small trailer, I’m trying to compromise with doing both. lol.
Solar solar solar. Put 400 watts on the roof. Edit: if you need more watts you need to get bigger panels.
