  • Last week Matt started turning wrenches under the hood of our 2024 Ford Raptor Build! He installed COBB Tuning's gorgeous carbon fiber scoop, air intake and coolant reservoir cover, their factory location front mount intercooler, and Turbosmart's incredible Vee Port EM Blow Off Valve. This combination has proven MUCH more reliable under hard use and abuse than the OEM system, and considering our future plans for this truck we'll need all the help we can get! These upgrades also make this thing sound absolutely amazing - while of course we love a growling V8, when this twin turbo six can truly breath we can't stop smiling!
    Thanks again to the great folks at COBB Tuning and Turbosmart, check out what they can do for your vehicle through the links below!

    How did you secure the front scoop? Apparently the bracket is not the same for 2024.

    Would love to see a BRI replacement door for that cubby. Something metal with better waterproofing would be badass.

    What product codes you guys used? Based on Cobb nothing is available for 2024 yet…
    7G4600, 8F1700 and 7F4160? It should be the same with 2023 but not sure

    Hi very nice video! And do you need a tune after installing intake? Thank you so much

    The scoop on the website shows that it doesn’t fit the 2024 F150 Raptor Ecoboost. True?

    Awesome video as always! Do y'all have any fears of the upgraded parts interfering with warranty work?

      Much appreciated! We aren't particularly concerned warranty-wise because we know and trust that COBB has done their homework and gotten these parts thoroughly ironed out, and we trust our installation of them. Needless to say, if the relationship you have with your dealer isn't one where they would be comfortable working on a vehicle with light modifications, we would not recommend making changes under the hood - but we're close with our dealer and don't think twice about installing parts like this. We recommend reaching out to COBB or Turbosmart directly if you're concerned. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    So glad you guys got a 24 and are starting to develop for it.
    Which model CAI did you use? I cannot find the part on the Cobb website.
    Also, any rough ETA on when we can expect to see the interior phone mount release?

      Regarding the 2024 F-150/Raptor Dash Mount, we're still in the development phase but highly recommend emailing support@builtrightind.com to be added to the list of folks getting a notification when it becomes available. Thanks for watching!

    Why do people like those blow off valves? They sound annoying with that pppfffshhh sound

    • @BuiltRightInd
      @BuiltRightInd  2 месяца назад +1

      There are recirculating options from turbosmart that are much quieter. Personally, I choose the vent atmosphere because the sound is fun and reminds me of my sport compact days, which I do mention in the video. I understand that it may be a bit juvenile and that it’s not for everybody, and that’s totally OK!
