Hi Zohair, I am currently a grade 10 student in Van BC. I am studying pre cal 11 in school by doing math 10 in summer school, as this semester ends, i expect a 85% for pre cal 11. I want to study architecture and heard they value your math skills a lot. I am afraid that even though I get good averages in grade 11 and 12 later on, they would dislike my precal 11 mark. Should I retake the course and strive for a better grade? (Im afraid universities dont like retakes) Or should I stick with it and just have a good GPA.
Universities like U of T value your Grade 11th and 12th grades more than the grades you got in 9th and 10th. So I'd suggest you not retake the course, stick with the existing grades and strive to get really good GPA in 11th and 12th.

Hello again, I would like to ask you if you have any tips and tricks for the Personal Profile part of my University of Toronto application. Is there any place I could find the questions asked there? What do I have to keep in mind during the Profile? How do I prepare for it? What questions did you get on your Personal Profile, both written and video-recorded? Any answer will be a great help. @@ZohairAnsari Sir one last question, how is the transcript different from the grades which are self reported by international students? Thanks in advance.
Transcripts are sent by the education board conducting your final exams to the universities, whereas self-reported grades are all your semester marks filled on U of T's website by you.

See you need to meet their English Language Proficiency Requirements and IELTS is just one way of meeting it. You can also meet it by taking TOEFL, Duolingo Test etc. You can only be exempted from english language tests if you studied in a country where English is a widely spoken language. So if you are from Indian subcontinent, you'll have to taken an English Language test to study at U of T. Also, this is my personal suggestion that it is better to take the any English test, because it is also used in the student VISA application, so you'll have no issues with regards to your English while trying to Canada. You can check all the English Language Proficiency Requirements here future.utoronto.ca/apply/english-language-requirements/
No, I there is no application fee to apply for scholarships. You'll be considered for most scholarships automatically, based on your merit. Honestly, I don't know much about the U of T's Application for Masters, will need to do research on it 😅
Hey sir, I am currently a grade 12 student in Ontario, Canada. My average in grade 11 was 92, and my average in grade 12 so far is a 93. I want to apply to life sciences. Will universities consider your grades differently due to covid and online learning? Also, can you comment on my chances of getting in to UofT and whether I need supplemental applications. Thanks, helpful video!
Thanks for reaching out ! Universities recognize that there are various changes happening in schools around the world due to Covid and the subsequent shift towards online learning (even the changes in grading systems), So do not worry about being considered differently because everyone is going through the same process and for you studying in Ontario, it should not be an element of concern 😉 Though I can't predict your chances of getting in, as a general rule of thumb, any one with grades above 80-90% has good chances of getting in. Whether or not you'll be required to submit supplementary application depends on the specific life sciences program you want to apply to.
I had currently passed my class 12th nd I m willing to take admission in U Of T for my bachelor's either in computer science or finance. Can u plz rate my acceptance chances there 9th- 90% 10th-88% 11th-85% 12th-91%
Your academic profile seems great, which means you have high chances of getting in. I can't say for sure whether you'll be admitted or not as admission to U of T depends on several factors such as academics, extracurriculars, achievements etc.
I am a Grade 11 student who is currently residing in Calgary, Alberta in Canada and I have a few questions regarding University of Toronto since I want to apply there for engineering: First, what would be the right time to apply and how do I apply? Second, I did not quite understand what you meant by your third point of Academics. Are you referring to high school academics or university academics? Third, which places would be favourable to volunteer at? Also, how much volunteer hours are needed for admission? Finally, can you help me personally to prepare me for admission? If you are unable to, do you know anyone else who can help me personally? I will be able to pay.
Hey Asliraf, Thanks for your questions. For your first question and for clarification on everything about the application process, I recommend you watch my "How to Apply to U of T" video here ruclips.net/video/kuw-vTw99G4/видео.html 2. I was referring to high school academics i.e., your grade 11th and 12th exam scores. 3. This is up to you and depends on your interest. If you are passionate about volunteer for a specific people and purpose, go ahead. There aren't any fixed number of hours that will guarantee you admission but try to be consistent with whatever you decide to volunteer for. 4. Currently, I don't know of anyone who can help with admission, but whatever your questions are for me, I'll be happy to help you 😀
It's 180 CAD (approx. 10,850 INR). This may increase depending on the Program you are applying to. For example - I applied to CS at UofT Scarborough and Mississauga which didn't have additional program fee, but if I applied to CS at UofT St. George, which has a program fee, I would have paid extra 50 CAD. I hope this helped 🙂

Yes. However, it depends on which universities you're applying for. U of T particularly looks at your grade 11th and 12th performance and doesn't ask for your grade 10th scores (till now). So you have good chance of getting in, there.

Hi I'm currently studying in grade 12 (2021-22) so when is the best time I can apply to u of t? Will it be okay if I give some time in preparation and apply next year?
Hi there, thanks for your comment. You have both options available, you can either apply for the fall of 2022 which will directly start after your Grade 12th or you can take a gap year (which I did, because I didn't know what to do 😅) and then apply for the fall of 2023. Also, there isn't much preparation required for submitting an application to U of T, so I'd recommend you to apply in Grade 12 👍
Yes, it does ‼ "The minimum requirement is an overall score of 120. Subscore results must be submitted. Results from tests completed before July 15, 2019 will not be accepted." - U of T's website (future.utoronto.ca/apply/english-language-requirements/) 👍
Don't worry too much about the English Language Requirement. You can submit any English Test accepted by U of T as long as you meet U of T's minimum requirement for that test. They don't prioritize one test for the other, it depends on your choice 👍
I can't say anything for sure about this, will need to do some research on this 😅 but there is a great answer I found on Quora related to this which I think will help a lot. Check it here: www.quora.com/Is-University-of-Toronto-better-than-York-University

Bro, University of Toronto and University of Waterloo are the best universities for CS in Canada. And they also rank pretty high in global rankings.
For early consideration should we submit the CS supplementary application by November 15th or by December 15?
As early as possible.
Hey Sohail!
Wonderful video
Just a small doubt whether University of Toronto asked u for extracurriculars or just the transcripts?
Thanks mate !! btw, I'm Zohair 😅
It depends on particular programs you're applying to. Personally, I was just asked for the transcripts.
Ohh got it, zohair😅
Hie brother can you please help me if I don't have IELETS but my education is in English till 12 and undergrad so can i apply
Is there any application fee if we are applying for scholarship? And can I now apply for mphil? Guide plz
No, I there is no application fee to apply for scholarships. You'll be considered for most scholarships automatically, based on your merit. Honestly, I don't know much about the U of T's Application for Masters, will need to do research on it 😅
I've less marks in 11th grade(75%) but
90 % in 10th
And 99% in 12th
Is it hard for me?
You got a chance. Definitely apply.
Universities recognize that there are various changes happening in schools around the world due to Covid and the subsequent shift towards online learning (even the changes in grading systems), So do not worry about being considered differently because everyone is going through the same process and for you studying in Ontario, it should not be an element of concern 😉
Though I can't predict your chances of getting in, as a general rule of thumb, any one with grades above 80-90% has good chances of getting in.
Whether or not you'll be required to submit supplementary application depends on the specific life sciences program you want to apply to.
Hello!
Which university is best for MS (Electrical) in Canada with schlorship.
It depends but I think University of Alberta and University of Toronto are great options.
Sir if someone have already relative's in canada whats tha plus point?
Your Living Expense will be taken care of 😉
I had currently passed my class 12th nd I m willing to take admission in U Of T for my bachelor's either in computer science or finance. Can u plz rate my acceptance chances there
9th- 90%
10th-88%
11th-85%
12th-91%
Your academic profile seems great, which means you have high chances of getting in. I can't say for sure whether you'll be admitted or not as admission to U of T depends on several factors such as academics, extracurriculars, achievements etc.
hey! did you get in
I am a Grade 11 student who is currently residing in Calgary, Alberta in Canada and I have a few questions regarding University of Toronto since I want to apply there for engineering:
First, what would be the right time to apply and how do I apply?
Second, I did not quite understand what you meant by your third point of Academics. Are you referring to high school academics or university academics?
Third, which places would be favourable to volunteer at? Also, how much volunteer hours are needed for admission?
Finally, can you help me personally to prepare me for admission? If you are unable to, do you know anyone else who can help me personally? I will be able to pay.
Hey Asliraf,
Thanks for your questions.
For your first question and for clarification on everything about the application process, I recommend you watch my "How to Apply to U of T" video here ruclips.net/video/kuw-vTw99G4/видео.html
4. Currently, I don't know of anyone who can help with admission, but whatever your questions are for me, I'll be happy to help you 😀
How much is the application fee?
It's 180 CAD (approx. 10,850 INR). This may increase depending on the Program you are applying to. For example - I applied to CS at UofT Scarborough and Mississauga which didn't have additional program fee, but if I applied to CS at UofT St. George, which has a program fee, I would have paid extra 50 CAD. I hope this helped 🙂
hey bro , i have a doubt .i am doing bachelors in pharmacy in india. now want to do masters from UOFT.
SO if i score 90 + in my last year can i have chance to get into UOFT.?
im science student i will complete 2 year inter which university provide free or scholarship for veterinary
U of T has a fully funded scholarship program for International Students, no matter what field they wanna pursue. I highly recommend you check out my video (ruclips.net/video/z9f8FaQBYoU/видео.html) to know more about it.
hii brother , Actually I don't have good grades in my class 11 (like in 60's) CBSE board , but I have excellent percentage in 12th boards. Can I still get admitted into U of T or any other great canadian or US unis. ?
Yes. However, it depends on which universities you're applying for. U of T particularly looks at your grade 11th and 12th performance and doesn't ask for your grade 10th scores (till now). So you have good chance of getting in, there.
I am diploma Holder in mechanical engineering and I want to apply for undergraduate program of mechanical engineering and. I am really confused please guide will the admit me
I am not sure whether the Engineering faculty will admit a student who is already a diploma holder in Mechanical Engineering. I suggest you email U of T's admission office for this at apply.adm.utoronto.ca/register/questions
@@ZohairAnsari Thanks a lot brother
Hi Zohair!, I am an international student, who is currently reviewing her application, and one of the required documents says "Entrance Exam Results" but I haven't seen any information about it on their page, I have no idea what to do, nor where and when do I have to take it.
Do you know anything about it? if that's so please let me know. Btw thanks, your videos have helped me a lot!
There aren't any entrance exams for U of T undergraduate programs. At least, I wasn't asked to submit one. Probably, it will be about English Proficiency Test scores. Can you send me the screenshot of it on Instagram? instagram.com/zohair_ansari_/
Hello sir
I have just completed class 12. Will i get into UofT for UG BA Political Science?
Class 10th percentage - 80%
Class 12th percentage - 91%
Kindly reply.
where is your grade 11 percentage?? and with your grade 12, you can definitely get in. Anyone with an above average of 85% always gets in. The thing is scholarships start from 88%. So be confident and you have nothing to worry about.
Which university is good for BBA . In Canada.? fees ..scholarship giving ?? What percentage I need ?
U of T and York Universities are some of the best universities for BBA in Canada. I recommend you watch my scholarship video for more details about scholarships, check here: ruclips.net/video/3R6MivWzGR8/видео.html

Thank you so much 😁
Hey bro..im studying BTech 1st year in Hyderabad.. I scored 78% in my 10th and scored 89% in my 11th and 90% in my 12th..I want to apply for my masters..but I’m not having clarity when I should start applying for it …and please do tell me whether my percentage is suitable for getting in to university of Toronto..do my 10th percentage affects in my future. ?
Thanks bro for all ur helpful videos.
Hey bro, your 10th grade scores won't matter much when you'll be applying for masters. They will mainly look at your undergrad performance and at most your 11th and 12th grade scores. So don't worry.
@@ZohairAnsari thank you so much bro..I was worried about this problem which has been in my head for a really really long years of about 2 thank you so much..many more to come bro ..lots of love from Hyderabad ❤️
One more thing😂 do u of t accepts duolingo english test?
Yes, it does ‼ "The minimum requirement is an overall score of 120. Subscore results must be submitted. Results from tests completed before July 15, 2019 will not be accepted." - U of T's website (future.utoronto.ca/apply/english-language-requirements/) 👍
Please do make a video on DET and other tests like if we have to give just one test or another too and which test should be on priority
Don't worry too much about the English Language Requirement. You can submit any English Test accepted by U of T as long as you meet U of T's minimum requirement for that test. They don't prioritize one test for the other, it depends on your choice 👍
Is U of T better for BBA than York University?
I can't say anything for sure about this, will need to do some research on this 😅 but there is a great answer I found on Quora related to this which I think will help a lot. Check it here: www.quora.com/Is-University-of-Toronto-better-than-York-University
Hey Zohair, First of all thank you so much for making such helpful and informative video, your channel will definitely blow up one day.
I want to pursue BBA from U of T. I did not perform very well in 9,10 and 11 grade neither was I involved in any extracurricular activity but I am expecting above 95 percent in my class 12 CBSE board exam. Also I am planning to start an E-Commerce business after 12. So are there any chances that I will be admitted to U of T and will I receive any scholarship??
Yea ! if you are able to score 95% or above in your grade 12th exams, you have a good shot at U of T.
Hello sir I'm an Indian student pursuing BAJMC and right now I'm in my graduation year and my graduation gonna complete in may 2022 can you please tell me about the MBA requirements in U of T and when to apply for fall 2022.
Bro, there are a lot of requirements for MBA. You can check them in detail here: www.rotman.utoronto.ca/Degrees/MastersPrograms/MBAPrograms/MEMBA/GettingIn/AdmissionRequirements 🙂
Hey, what are my chances for UofT with 97%+ in 9,10,11 and 12th and predicted score of 99%? Also what else do i need for guaranteed admission with scholarship?
With these grades, you already have a pretty high chances of getting into U of T. Just work on your extracurricular profile to increase your chances further.
@@ZohairAnsari yes about that....... would it be okay if all ECs are centered around STEM subjects, as i am applying to CS?
@@ZohairAnsari so im talking about international olympiad medal( the actual one)
hey zohair, i got 95.6 in class 10, 88% aggregate in class xi and 93 % in class 12 half yearly and I am expecting a 95%+ in the class 12 board exams, do you think that I have a good chance at applying to uoft?
Bro u have Def gonna get in. Anyone with above average of 85% always gets in. The thing is scholarships start from around 91%. So be confident and don't worry.
Hi brother.. tysm for making splendid helpful video. I am from Bangladesh. Currently in 10th grade. I want to do business or mathematics in one of top 10 Canadian universities.
What are my chances for next year sept?
Bro, you'll have a good chance of getting in. Though academics are just one part of the application process, I think you should apply.
Can i get with 12 grade with 61%
Academics are really important. You should definitely apply, but I would suggest you to show improvement in your high school academics with every exam to increase your chances of admission at U of T
i have 1 year gap in my 11 and 12 nd i also changed my board from cbse to state board in 12.Will be there any problem in getting admission in university
I would recommend you to contact the university for this. But I think there won't be any issues as long as you have the grade 11, 12 transcripts and the details about your activities in the gap year.
I have repeated my 12 to improve my percentage is it right reason?
I can't say this with certainty, but I think there won't be any issues with your application with this reason.
Is 8+ cgpa in btech is good for master in u of t
Thanks for your question. Right now, I don't know about the academic requirements for Masters at U of T, will not to research on it 😅
Hello, i have completed my bachelor degree (MBBS) this year. Can i apply for master degree in Canada with scholarship?

Hello, thanks for your query 🙂
Yes, you can apply for a master's degree in Canada and even receive a good scholarship. Could you tell me what university are you interested in applying to?

i have also been into extracurricular activities related to this program.
I would suggest you to keep maintaining high academic performance in Grade 12th and try to get grades as high as possible. Then, you'll have good chances of getting admitted to U of T.
Also, apply early for admission.
Hello sir , i have taken a drop year after 12th for jee but now I want to join u of T . Is there any chances? Or i am eligible for Lester b Pearson scholarship? Plzz reply. I have a good academic score from 9 to 12th .
You can apply for admission and scholarship even if you are in your gap year but you should not have graduated before June 2021.

It depends on what program you're applying to. Check the program-specific requirements for your intended program of study on U of T's website. Yea, the best time to apply to U of T is September-October, so yeah go ahead 👍
