We open in the rocky environs outside Midgar, with a narrow canyon to our right and a birds-eye view of the terrain. The land is sere and sterile. We follow a hawk as it glides into and over Midgar, catching a glimpse of a passing train and panning over the city architecture. We see people going about their daily lives - and then, ominiously, a withered patch of dead grass. When you see it, you realize you haven’t seen any living vegetation yet. The Bombing Mission theme kicks in shortly before the train pulls into the station and the action begins. Learn to play this intense and ominous theme with this awesome piano arrangement!

I know this was uploaded three years ago and you're probably way past the point where you even could care, but I just noticed that you called Bombing Mission the 'main theme' of Final Fantasy VII. It's not; 'Main Theme' is the 'main theme.'

I love how in the remake version of this song, they incorporated parts from One-Winged Angel into it. It's so chilling and beautifully executed.

The nostalgia, I love it... Bombing mission is one of my favorite pieces from FF VII besides "those chosen by the planet".
So fucking hyped for the remake. Playing the demo and hearing this was great. FF7 is an amazing game, and quite possibly my favorite game ever made.

This is so amazing! From the moment I booted up the steam version of FF7 I wanted to play this piece on piano and thanks to you now I can! This is such a well done arrangement - I honestly would have thought this was an official piano arrangement by someone working with Square Enix. Thank you so much for this - it's really spectacular.

Remember this from the 2000s growing up.....good times. First game in the series I played, then absolutely loved VIII, IX and X/X-2......recent ones are disappointing. For me the peak years have gone. But what a series when it was at its best.
