Thanks for the great game and report. There really is very little Dropfleet content in youtube and I liked your format very much, as it shows the activations and decisions. Cheers and hope to see more of these!
You know, that's why I originally started making Dropzone battle reports - there was really nothing out there beyond basic intro videos. I'm glad the Dropfleet ones are finding a similar niche!
@@ethanmckinney203 our local group really disliked the 2nd edition of Dropzone commander where they took away full editorial control from Dave, and Dropfleet became a casualty of that too. Also covid. For the last couple of years I’ve been leading a classic world of Warcraft raiding guild, although now that the kids are getting older I might get back into miniatures again next year. Maybe Infinity?
@cameronblume5108 In any case, I hope you make some videos for whatever you're playing. Your editing makes them tight and puts the length where it should be. Too many meandering live play videos out there.
That's great! We're really targeting people who already know all the game rules, so it's awesome to hear that someone who doesn't know anything can still follow.
Great bat rep guys! Loved the San Francisco diving into the debris field, losing most of the bombers and some of his own fighters haha. Some constructive feedback, there were a few edit points that were slightly off, bits that should have been cut out and bits that were cut off too soon. Also, a fair amount of "shaky camera syndrome" - I'm guilty of this myself. JJ
It was Tony's first time filming, he took one hand off the camera a few times, which caused the shaking. We also had a few misqueues with starts and stops. I tried to edit out most of the excess, sorry if I missed something =/.
Yeah, thanks for the catch. We did notice that after the fact, and it probably would have had a major effect on the game since those space station lasers ended up doing a lot of damage.
You should have bombered the Space Station and the New Orleans heading for your own cluster rather than the San Fran. It's neigh on impossible to recapture space stations because they shoot before you deploy troops.

These videos are very important. It's a great contribution to the community and I can only thank you again for making all the effort.
Love your UCM colour scheme!
Thank you for giving great insights into your decision making and tactics.
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it
@@cameronblume5108 I'm just getting into Dropfleet. Looks like you haven't played in a while. Although you might have just stopped making videos.

@@cameronblume5108 Stargrave? Cheap, miniatures agnostic, campaign based. Folks at our FLGS are wrapping up a campaign today.

Nice UCM paint scheme. The white makes them pop.
I'll tell Tony
Great report guys. That chain reaction was devastating!! The kinda cinematic stuff that makes this game awesome.
Thanks!
Tony was great with his narrations, thanks for the vid!
It is fun to see how others use the PHR! I use a lot of frigates.
Well... after playing this game, it looks like I probably need a few more frigates =P
i have had a lot of luck with a line battle-group of 4 Europa's one Perseus, and two Pandora's
Very nice Battlereport. I could follow well, alltough i have no knowledge about DFC.

What did you guys use for your space debris? I like how theyre above the map! 🎉
I would have to ask Tony
According to Tony they’re just balanced on dice!

No worries guys, still a great vid. Just some constructive criticism.
Noticed a mistake in the second turn launch phase. The troopship should have been able to launch since bombers launch before but resolve after drops

Yup, O the honk I have much to learn about DF Commander too.
