Love this, Renee. Thank you so much for your generosity. I do have a question you might be able to answer. You are a breath of fresh air. I’m so happy I bumped into your video tonight.
Day by day I am following you… You give me hope, in a time of challenge. Thank you so much for the great information. I had seen Mia’s book, now we know the story. It is as if you read my mind. Thank you again:))
I think you got very good results and I am amazed by the short time it took you. I know this is a controversal subject, but you can be proud of your results.
So glad to have found your channel. You are inspiring and your feet are on the ground trying all these new tools and teaching us so we can follow your journey and be encouraged.
Wow love this! Thank you for sharing. Renee can you please do a video on how you format a square children’s book double spread internal pages? I see you have done this with this book. Well done!
I never thought of using Kittl. I tried everything else than Ivy Hang who I follow as well as you used chatgpt consistent character and i was able to get a consistent looking girl but i will try kittl for my next one. Thanks so much.
Wow! Indeed you are a blessing !! 🙏🏼🙌🏼 Just searching to start and came across this easy well put explanation video !! 👏🏼👏🏼Look forward for my first book !! 🙏🏼
Hi Renee, I just wanted to say I like your book and I like your video and I learned a lot from it . I am going to use your video as a guide for making my books.
I use both! Book bolt formats everything for me, and I use Kittl for the design when I’m making a children’s story. If I’m just making a maze then I only use book bolt. How that helps!
@@reneefclancy Thank you! I am new to this and finding Kittl more challenging than Canva.. I used your links to sign up for both :) With Book Bolt I must be missing on where you can design the book. Do you have a video you can link?
I agree - Kittl has a bigger learning curve, but you'll get the hang of it. With BookBolt, once you create a new book and decide the dimensions, it will create the format automatically. I can definitely make a video though to walk through the beginning steps! Thanks for the suggestion!
You only need the 72 pages if you have chosen the lowest quality of paper type. Once you choose the premium color interior paper and minimum page count is 24. Hope that helps!
Inclusivity/diversity/environmental awareness, ( climate change ). You say the ‘ experts ‘ are all suggesting these are the topics kids should be hearing about. I disagree strongly. These are all parts of the agenda of indoctrination that schools ram down their throats already. I would stick to the subjects that are close to your heart, and that are beneficial to a child, as material to put in a children’s book. Things to make their imagination soar.
As a children’s librarian, the flood of AI generated children’s books flooding the market are easily detected junk littering the literature ecosphere. Readers deserve better than this desperate crap!
Thank you for your opinion. This argument reminds me of the same one that happened when digital cameras became popular over film. People said the quality and strategy of allowing clients to have digital images instead of prints would ruin the industry. But we adapted. There is a place for both AI and traditionally illustrated books.
Please provide links to your own, personally authored children's books for comparison. Shelving picture books for a career may not provide sufficient skills to judge or evaluate children's literature. But you certainly feel entitled to voice your sweeping criticisms about AI assistance in creating books, without acknowledging the hundreds of thousands of truly dreadful volumes that are sold as children's "literature" that have been published without such aid. I blame the printing press. That's where it all started to go wrong...😂
As an Educator I can tell you from my experience with children that the ARTISTIC value is usually more for grown ups who get the books for the children. If the story is good and the illustrations match the story then that is enough to thrill children. They love a good story and where the illustrations fail their wonderful imagination fills in the rest. So while I like beautiful hand drawn illustrations too, a good story always wins at the end of the day.
@@reneefclancyAI writing is all plagiarism and cannot be copyrighted by law. The same is true for AI art. You’re more likely to be sued for the AI art. I highly recommend you consult with an intellectual property attorney.

Renee you are a true blessing. Thank you for not being a gatekeeper and sharing how you are doing this work. God bless you!
Thank you! You too!

Thanks Renee! Beautiful work! A Best Seller for sure! $$$
Thanks so much!
Gorgeous book for kids! WD! Thanks for the explanation. : }
Thank you so much!
How do you format the cover and the inside pages? Also, which do you find better - Kittl or Book Bolt?
I use both! Book bolt formats everything for me, and I use Kittl for the design when I’m making a children’s story. If I’m just making a maze then I only use book bolt. How that helps!

Wow! I simply loved your idea. Kudos to your creativity. ❤
Thank you so much 😊
Did you do a book of 72 pages? and if not, how did you bypass the rules around the minimum amount of pages?

Love your book! Thank you!
I got the same emotion garden idea back in February...wish chatGPT was more diverse
I look at it this way… there are a lot of books out there that are similar, but when we lend our unique perspective that makes it great!
How did your book turn out?
I loved that memory book you created.
Great walkthrough!
Your little book looks so cute, well done! 🥀🌷🥀🌷
Thank you!
I wish you success on your book!
Have you looked at Generait?
No, I haven’t… Is that an AI image generator?
Awe! Very cute! 🩷
Thank you!
I like your book!
Thank you!
Hey
Wondering i could talk to u abt my book KDP
Hello! Currently, I do not offer one on one coaching sessions, however, I plan to in the future!
Great Post
Glad you enjoyed it!
I would write the story myself first then use AI for more creativity and tweaks.
That's also a great idea!
So cute.
