Welcome back to the Foxhole. You can see BM tried to make a dance metal or disco metal (?) song even years before RATATATA, although this one didn't hit so much among fans. At least they still show they weren't here doing the same thing and always bringing something different to enjoy. There's a short song intro which is played prior to this song usually at live concerts and is also part of the Light Side of the Metal Galaxy album called "Future Metal". This song marks the route of the entire 3rd BabyMetal album, you can notice BabyMetal grew up a lot. Tak Matsumoto (B'z guitarist and founder) is the special guest guitar on the album version, he's doing the short guitar solo section. Song is inspired in Juliana's Tokyo 90's movement and sound, more like a mix of Hi-NRG, eurobeat and Jpop, rather than edm or rave, Tak Matsumoto was one of the first introducing guitar elements back then in these types of songs. Of course SuMetal and the girls aren't afraid to try something new and they did it like a boss, or more like a queen and princess. In this case you're watching an official live compilation, but no live sound (instead they're using the usual studio album sound) from two live shows in 2019, LA Forum in the US and Metal Galaxy World Tour in Japan 2019, and one of the avenger is Riho Sayashi, she currently have her own solo career and she's quite good and successful at it, after all she's an Hiroshima girl just like our queen Su and Miko-chan (the new lead singer of Metalverse), the other one is Momoko Okazaki, now MomoMetal. Kami Band after 2019 are wearing masks, during the LA Forum it was Western Kami Band playing. Last time they played this song was at Legend MM MomoMetal's 21 Birthday in March. Next suggestion: - YAVA! with Kami Band intro live at Fox Festival 2017. This week is coming another collab with Tak Matsumoto new group, song is called Eternal Flames and there's already a teaser around, so stay tuned for more. See you next time.🦊🤘🕺
Good double reaction. Tak Matsumoto is the founder and lead guitarist with Japan's biggest ever selling band B'z. He provided the guitar solo for 'Da Da Dance'. He was not there in person. That video used film from the Forum in LA in October 2019 (octagonal stage) and Osaka Jo Hall in Japan in November 2019 (big triangular stage) and it had the studio audio. BABYMETAL will be guest artists on a new song being released this week by Tak Matsumoto and his new band. Well spotted that Momoko didn't have a mic yet for that performance of 'Maya'. That was filmed at PIA Arena Black Night on 1st April 2023. She was revealed as the new third member at the end of that concert and for Clear Night on 2nd April she finally got her microphone.
Da Da Dance will be performed with Tak Matsumoto on a Japanese music TV show this weekend. SU-METAL's ponytail once got tangled in a hairpiece during Maya's performance at the 2024 TOUR FINAL IN JAPAN LEGEND - 43 concert.
Great song combo reaction . Yes, they can get their hair caught on the spikes, but their headbanging experts, and doesn't happen often, and if they do, they quickly untangle it between songs . Think you got told everything else already 😁 🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼
NIce reaction. And this was Momo's last concert without a mic. At the end of this show Momometal was announced as the new official member of Babymetal.
Babymetal live shows are definitely not for people who are sensitive to flashing lights. I was at this show and the visual display was pretty overwhelming even when you're prepared for it. The video screen was absolutely massive and the light show was intense. This was filmed at Babymetal Begins: The Other One: Black Night & Clear Night, which was held on April 1st and 2nd 2023 in Yokohama. This was filmed on Black Night (April 1st), which was Momoko's last performance as an Avenger. At the end of the show, she was officially announced as the new member of Babymetal and given the name Momometal. The next night (Clear Night; April 2nd) was her first official performance as Momometal with a mic. Although it doesn't show it in this video, the stage platform that they were dancing on actually moved up and down during the show, so they were up higher for some songs and on that lower level for some others. If you want the performance of Monochrome from this show, you will see it in the upper position.
Well their hair is in fact a part of their costumes. In reality they look quite different. Since thex are the new Babymetal they allow sometimes slip their real pictures out and the general aggreement is, if you would see them in public you would not recognize them.
Moa fights many battles, Last live show, I saw Moa flapping her prig tails to get them unstuck. The long intros give them time to clean up and their handlers might even come out and fix them up. Momo was not an official member then. The earpieces do lots of things, protect hearing, hear themselves and there are timing and counting. When Su does a long note, she will hear 1,2,3,1,2,3 to keep her in perfect timing.
There are usually three ways I judge whether MOMO is an official member of BabyMetal or just a backing dancer. 1. head mic. 2. Hairstyle 3. Costume: After she became an official member of BabyMetal, she wore the same costume in the RATATATA MV, which had translucent colorful armor. Or the latest costume. Thanks for your great reaction.
