Awesome to see the Minneapolis-Moline G-1355 in action! This classic tractor still holds its own during fall tillage. Love the sound and power of that engine - it's a great reminder of the strong legacy these machines have in farming. Keep up the great work!
Cool video. When I was a kid my dad’s first tractor when he started farming in 1978 was a M602 with a diesel engine. Spent a lot of hours working summerfallow on it
Hey everyone Jason great vidéo and great old school tractor and equipement and sound from this tractor in us in central Kentucky i have drive in the field with this model tractor this is a great tractor

I can't help but say Agriculture just doesn't seem that same without Minneapolis Moline and Oliver. I miss seeing those. Glad that both have endured since production of them ended.😢
@@2010ChargerRTwell, they stopped Cockshutt production right away in 1963, and started just painting Oliver’s red and rebadging them as Cockshutts. White just wanted Chockshutts new combine plant. Cockshutt also had the MM Jet Star 3 Super as the Cockshutt 1350, I’ve only seen one. They were all merged in 1974 with the start of the Field Boss series with the 2-105 and 4-150.
The G1355 was also made in clover green as an Oliver. The Minnieapolis Moline guy hated that tractor because of that crappy Oliver rear end. The Oliver guys hated that tractor because of that stupid Moline engine hanging out front. Both sets of tractor guys called it an abomination.
Side fold. Left side folds over the right side and the hitch hydraulically adjusts from center of the unfolded disk to the center of the right side for transport.
They run this pass to slice up the stalks. There is a chisel plow running just behind to break compaction and bury the residue. In a few clips you can see the WFE 4-225 tractor and 714 chisel plow cross crossing with the G-1355.
❤😊FITZKE IMPLEMENT IN LE SUEUR MN SOLD 2 OF THEM IN THE AREA. SUNDER MAN FARMS BOUGHT ONE AND USED IT FOR MANY YEARS !!! THIS PAST YEAR SOMEONE MADE CONTACT WITH THEM AND ASKED IF THEY WANTED IT BACK ❤😊
Proves once again you don't need a $500,000 tractor to get the job done. Might take alittle longer but you are doing it in style!!!
Time is more valuable than money
Nice rig, and good to see some moline videos
Ya don’t see a lot of those tractors out there.
I remember when the G 1000 came out. It was a beast back then. Great video and I miss those days of farming as a kid!
The G1000 and Vista are two greats.
I remember the G 1000 and the 1855 as great tractors. All were good, regardless of color.
That MM has been working a lot of years and still going strong!! Good to see.

A time and place when real tractors were built! Oliver 1855…best tractor built!
The 1855 is a great tractor.
Great video, that’s a really nice looking classic 👍👍👍
My uncle worked at the charles city plant for 39 yrs so he probably had a hand in making this tractor
1355! What a great find!!!! I can't believe there are two 220s in one video lol. Dad called ours "the potato ridger".

Very cool. The M602 is a good tractor.
What an cool tractor, love how the duals are mounted, looks so good 😎
I like the frame size of tractor, probably rode well.
Love the JD yellow gang center fold disk, I ran a 21 footer in the late 70’s. That one looks like an 18 footer.
That one is in very nice condition, and it looks so much better with this paint scheme than the one that followed it.

minnie-mo love it
My dad and grandpa started with molines I remember seeing this tractor it was really cool
Beautiful tractor.
Wow! Takes me back to great times❤
Had the privilege to run one when I was a teenager. Tons of torque for a naturally aspirated motor.

What a beast.
Wow look at that long hood!
My uncle had a M 602 propane engine. Nice tractor for its time in the 60's.
Very cool. MM is as a leader in LP engines.
Beautiful Minnie Moe!

My grandfather had a diesel G1355 but it was an Oliver branded (Oliver green) version of it.
👌💯Excellent👌 video
Super Video ❤❤
Always the best videos 😊.. love these old beasts 🤷♀️
A nice video again . Regards from germany . 😊
Thank you for watching. The G1355 was big tractor power 50 years.
Good video. Thanks for not posting any irritating, annoying, loud, cheesy background music.
The sound of Minneapolis Moline 585 engine is music in the field. Thank you for watching.
Great video big T 👍👍👍
Proper old school workhorses. Looks great with the duals on 🚜🚜🚜

Is that a dog or a coyote running alongside on the last pass?
Sure disking some thick corn stalks
Did Oliver buy MM? Or did White buy MM?
White bought Minneapolis in 1963 and merged Minneapolis, Cockshutt, Oliver in 1969.
@ ok 👍

We had a 1972 MM G950. Pulled a 5 bottom plow and a 16 foot CrustBuster grain drill most of its days.
Is that a center fold disk that it's pulling?
Side fold. Left side folds over the right side and the hitch hydraulically adjusts from center of the unfolded disk to the center of the right side for transport.
@@acedecade8337you don’t see many of those disks around.
@@Hinesfarm-IndianaThey had some weak points. Mainly the hitch would break off a lot. That's my experience anyway from back when I helped a neighbor
