Sir a question...in the first case of the gearbox, you mentioned the rpm is 240...so is it the High speed side rpm or the low speed side rpm? For calculation purpose what is the requirement..?? And for condition monitoring of gearbox teeth, does the sensor(single axis sensors) needs to be mounted on the bearing casing or the gearbox casing in the three (XYZ) direction...Plz reply
Its actually the driving speed of the individual gear.... For example in a single stage gearbox, we have two gears rotating at two different speeds, so this system has two fault frequencies ( one for each gear)... Regarding the position of sensors, for gear fault diagnosis, one direction is enough (either X or Y)... Because both will have the similar pattern of signal and amplitude....
In the gear fault frequency, is it correct that the same speed (6.67 rps) is multiplied for both pinion and wheel frequency? Shouldn't the rps of the pinion be larger compared to the higher diameter wheel?
Eigenvalues and eigenvectors are commonly used in vibration analysis to determine the natural frequencies and mode shapes of a system. The components of an eigenvector also denote the displacements of each degree of freedom in the system. Look at the magnitudes of the components of the normalized eigenvector. Larger magnitudes indicate more significant displacements in the corresponding degrees of freedom. Note: This is up to my knowledge; I haven't practically applied this.

Mistake in the video - GMF is same for Pinion and Bull gear.
Yes.. Really sorry for that..
I can say one of the best video i watched on condition based monitoring....explained in it simple terms..thank you so much for this wonderful video
Glad you liked it
Really enjoyed the presentation 👌. Keep on adding more videos.
Thank you for the motivation 😉
Thank you very much... please make vedio on single plane balancing.
Sure!!!!

Actually the Gear Mesh Frequency (GMF) is same for both the gear and pinion (a pair of gears)... That was a mistake in the video..
I saw the slide start from No. 34, can you provide the link for other vibration video

Hi sir, Good afternoon
How to do this using MATLAB software. Did you make any videos regarding this. pls can you provide the link
I am from mechanical engineering in B. E
Can you tell us how to use eigen vector and eigen values to decide vibration points ?

Can you please make vedio for machine fault prognosis
Sure will do
ruclips.net/video/tRrHDqWU7Qg/видео.html
can speed of pinion is increase according to gear ratio 2:1
The Gear mesh frequency won't change
Sir can you explain with coding
Sure .. will make a video on that..
Pllz give us imp question in machine diagnosis
Sorry bro..... It depends on your syllabus and university...

Frankly I don't have any idea about that... If anyone knows, you can comment it...
sir can u provide code for this
Which code do you need?
