I told him I could scoop the men any day of the week. It wasn't until after I out scooped them that I let them know that they hired the 1st. female Wildland Firefighter in the state of California. I was looking for something fun to do in between fire seasons🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There was a Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor in Fremont back in the 70's to 80's. Farrell's was the best ice cream parlor ever! Remember when somebody ordered The Zoo? They would put that giant serving bowl on a stretcher and two guys would carry it and run around with it inside the restaurant while sirens and lights are going off! They had a banana split called The Pig's Trough, I had that one time and won a ribbon! My favorite was the Hot Fudge Sundae! Not only did they have great ice cream sundaes but also burgers and fries and other items. They also had the gift shop with all sorts of candy and jawbreakers the size of a softball! Farrell's was an absolute fun place to go anytime! After a game, a date, a birthday or after church! I could go for a Hot Fudge Sundae right now!
Yup right behind the old Capwells. Had some fun birthday parties there and we always gorged on the Zoo! Drums beating, sirens roaring and the two guys running round the whole shop. Awesome times. Miss it so.

The quality of Rally's went downhill. It's not the same 10 years ago...
Yeah it's just corporate/franchise food now a days.
Yeah Rally's was really good when it first opened It is horrible now.
@@nancylewis9723 yeah pretty bad. Wonder if they are called Big Bufords still?
Many of Birthday's celebrated there. Saddening to see it go.
This place was opened for like two years and gone
Yeah they were in debt. Didn't last long at all
Such a waste! Why didn’t they make a homeless shelter out of it?
Just kidding! 😂
Our Farrel’s was demolished maybe about 20 years ago. Now it’s a Verizon store.
Not the original location of Farrells from the 70s.
memories i use to get taken the one in downey california
Hope you got that light cover
I got the original 1 that was on it but not the other i seen
Damn I remember going to the one on Rosemead Blvd back in the 80’s.
@@arkitekto323 the old school days
The movie was Clerks 2.
@@malfuncsean thanks! I just remember seeing that movie set back then & was like wow that was the old Burger King
@@HEYMANWITHJAYMAN I went by there and took photos. I used to eat at that Burger King back in the day.
@@malfuncsean now if i think about it that Burger King was in kind of a weird location. It's around Knott's but that particular area is just different
I live across the street and they said they're building a 7-Eleven gas station
Dang…. JJB was here!
The FAMOUS JJB watches my vids!!
@@HEYMANWITHJAYMAN - That’s cause they are so good.

Im going to missed seeing through the window before I go to Average Joe's
@@RetroJR3379 is that a place in the san diego area?
@HEYMANWITHJAYMAN Close I meant the Average Joe's card shop. Speaking of San Diego I remember the Farrells in Chula Vista closed to Jr. High
@RetroJR3379 average Joe's sign is gone and a medical clinic? sign is in its place i seen this morning
My but this is sad. All of the places I used to go to are now gone. Every. Single. One. I know it's part of life, but... The Broadway. May Co. Robinsons. Robinson- May. Of course Sears, KMart. Mervyn's. Stein Mart. Tuesday Morning. There's Akron. Millers Outpost. Payless. Longs Drugs. Zody's. Best Catalog. Boston Store. Thom Mcann. Kinneys. Gallenkamp. TG&Y. Woolworth. Ben Franklin. Sages. White Front. Builders Emporium. It was like the Home Depot of that time. JCPenney and Rite Aid/Thrifty are on their way out. I know it's not like I can't get things I need, but it's pretty much Walmart, Kohl's, Macy's. Throw in TJMaxx, Ross and Marshalls. And of course juggernaut Amazon. But still, so much has ended.
Wow i remember 90% of those place that are all gone. The variety of stores have shrunken big time!! Old school days are long gone! Sucks
So sad crap 7 eleven going there. I prefer Texas Roadhouse going there
Yeah a steak place or any cool resturant vs a 7-11
i had ferarllis for the first time a few years ago, ngl... it was the worst ice cream i ever had lol. super duper artificial flavors and colors.
A week later around the 10th it’s about gone.
how can you go bankrupt selling ice cream and hosting bd parties 🥳 🤪
Many good memories
