From a 2 to a 4 is quite a jump. I have been through 2 major hurricanes. It's not fun! The sound of the winds at 115 mph inland is terrifying. Prayers for all in the path! 🙏
Storm Arwen in the uk had 98 mph winds at minus 5 temperatures and wasn’t even classed as a hurricane or blizzard the noise was insane and I lost my roof

I spent the past 6 hours arguing with my grandparents to please leave because they live in Palm Harbor, but they won't listen. I'm up in New York so I can't help them. I pray they will be okay because I love them dearly.🙏❤

I can never understand how people do this. If you're worried enough to go to a shelter find a pet friendly one - they exist - and *take them with you.*
Or, if you're fleeing the path, find a pet-friendly hotel and *take them with you!*
When you take on a pet you're accepting them into your family. You wouldnt leave a 5 year old at home while you flee thinking "he'll figure it out." You're the owner, its on *you* to figure it out. Don't have the money? Call a shelter. Call a friend. Beg a family member. But don't just leave your furry friend to die!
Prayers that it will be less violent and protection of weather and less violent storms and no tornados.

I was just thinking of the stray animals! Last year when we visited Orlando we saw a bunch of stray kittens. I hope there are no tornados and flooding and that all the people and animals are safe.

If you're reading this and preparing for the storm to hit your area, I would like you to remember to take detailed photos of your house. Each and every room, all of your stuff. Even inside your cabinets and refrigerator. Should you come to find your house damaged, these will go a long way to helping your insurance claim when you start to recover.

I remember some years ago I had a vivid dream of Florida coast line and residential areas were under 5 feet of water. I can actually see the houses partially under water and the lands look like abandoned for months as if the waters didn't receed right away kinda like a temp permanent disaster

Yeah the east side is insane. I was on the east side of Irma. My apartment complex looked like a warzone the next day. Trees just snapped in half like toothpicks and up rooted.
