@@ajasverepova5028 Unfortunately, its not that easy for some people. As a Floridian who has been through numerous hurricanes and threats of one ,its common for people to not be able to afford to evacuate...especially if you live in the Keys. The price of gas alone to get out and come back is very expensive on top of the price of a hotel room for days unless you know someone you can stay with for free. Good coverage. Very informative. 12 - 18 ft of storm surge, 12 inches to 24 inches of rainfall. Can't imagine what that's going to look like when it's reached it's worst, and then what the area will look like, after the waters recede. Talking about the eye of hurricane, the width and power, really low millibar reading. Hope there was no one in a single level dwelling, in that area. The pilots that fly into hurricanes, says this was the roughest flight they've ever had. 1,000 foot drop in the plane. Not usual for sure. Hope the crew is all well. They all did a good job.
No elevation - no pitch on the land - huge increase in population size - massive traffic jams - there is nowhere I know of in that part of Florida that is high enough in elevation to remain above water. What happens if Okeechobee lets go ? It is surrounded by berms on the south end. Ian is a Monster !
We're 30 miles NW of MIAMI...and have been flooded, had tornados, massive trees down, damage,Perry Airport destroyed,No school-- ..etc..and WE'RE ONLY IN OUTER BANDS here. :( Life is unpredictable, be kind to eachother while you can. Remember, when it MISSES US, it still HITS someone else..be it a storm, a disease, a drunk driver, etc....
@@youdonthavetoreadthispost.5850 I know. I was truly concerned for Floridians in the path of this beast, and to the north side of it and the south. I looked up the topography of Florida when I saw the first projected storm surge. Seeing those hurricane hunters bounced about on their plane, that's not normal. 1,000 ft sudden drop ? I knew this was going to be a monster. What political party one is, for me, doesn't matter in situations like this. I on "live" coverage of the hurricane - people's channels, Floridians were asking about areas they were in, or where people they cared about, were in. So I thought I would just put out warnings in comments sections. Thinking if just one person saw a warning I left, and thought, maybe we should seek shelter, then that would be good. I saw many people being rescued from their cars. 1 foot of water can float a car, or human. Less, for a human. Some of the rescuers were strangers. 🙏 Thankfully, the berms held. For as strong as the storm was, and the surge, wind, and rainfall, it's amazing so far,... no deaths. Hope it stays that way. Glad you posted you info !

God Bless everyone in the path of this storm.
uh..."bless". your imaginary friend once again will do nothing. OH im sorry...."it" created this in your belief system, right?
@@mcdeigo no. God only does good things like make rainbows and grant wishes and stuff. This is clearly a natural occurance or maybe Satan.
Yes my dear, this is just the beginning.
My heart goes out to the people losing everything and possibly loved ones. I'll say that when ordered to evac people absolutely should do so. These are killers and people that ride it out put other people at risk to rescue them .
I'm so relieved I'm in the Panhandle it's looking like it's gonna miss us .I'm sorry for the people that are experiencing this hurricane.
in other words "sucks to be you"
Doobly get a life lmao
@@mcdeigo Hows that ?
Chicago doesn't have this problem, but we have the snow. Floridians are proud of no snow, but this is their hell
"People, please evacuate! Reporters, get your butts down there!!

Prayers out for Florida from Canada we recently had Fiona in the maritimes which was nasty but even just this one is clearly terrible. Hoping the damages are minimal with those that come with said kind of storm. Good luck.

@@mcdeigo Why troll on every single prayer message? We get it, you don`t believe in God. So what? Calm down, and stop trying to roast God-loving people...it doesn't bother us and you're just wasting your time.
Prayers to you from the Bahamas 🇧🇸 have mercy LORD!
That looks really tame for a Category 4
Inland South Central Florida, no big deal. Ian came through, dumped water & some gusty winds here & there. He came straight through where I am. Big Thank You to Duke Energy workers who restored power quickly!!!
Iam really enjoying watching this professional live .. bravo for all your teams 👏
Enjoying? People have loved ones down there who will not survive. God help you.
@@rockforester7908 of course my prayers are with Florida but I just wanted to express my appreciation for the teams that worked so hard so we can know everything about this hurricane
Be safe to all in Florida
Who would ever move to Florida.....
Praying for Florida 🙏🙏🙏
