Why on earth would they "delete" any scenes with Murray Hewitt? He literally DESTROYS every single scene in which he appears. He's one of the -- if not THE -- funniest characters ever on television. Rhys Darby is an all-time great comic actor. Thanks for posting.

The fact that the "Nigerian Prince" was real, and actually did have a fortune he shared with Murray, makes me love Murray, and everything leading up to that reveal so much more.
There seems to be a prevailing notion that scenes/segments are cut from comedy movies and TV shows because they're of lower quality, or just less funny. But as often as not, scenes are cut because their inclusion negatively affects the flow, rhythm and/or the energy of the story. And sometimes they're cut purely because they'd make an episode run long.

Nah this is a deleted scene. I think this was a rough cut, with Jemaine reading out the letter so that Murray could type it out in sync. If it had been included I'm pretty sure Murray would have narrated it.

Anyone know the origin of the sample? I was impressed with myself that I noticed it and pattern matched it back to a song from 1995. Oh magnificent brain! Funny that it would appear in this deleted scene.
