Federal Signal Thunderbolt 1003 Siren Test - Alert - Fort Atkinson, WI 4/7/2021

After the SuperBanshee, I ventured over to Fort Atkinson to try and nab my first successful Thunderbolt test. The previous time I had attempted a Thunderbolt, it failed on me. I was a bit concerned as other enthusiasts here have been kicked out before for filming this siren. But luckily for me, I had no issues. Fort Atkinson is a bit weird, they test at 12:05 instead of Noon because the Federal Signal 2001 in Downtown goes off for Noon Blasts. At 12:05, this thing fired up for 3 minutes of Alert. Pretty loud even with hearing protection on.

Testing Time: First Wednesdays at 12:05 PM
Location: Just off of Zaffke Street next to the Fort Atkinson water tower.
