Awesome. Note: For everyone saying they are the replacement for Take 6? Ummm.... Take 6 is still out there you know? I personally think of them as the '1 & 3' version of Take 6... Or maybe 'Take Secular'? So hard to decide, really...
How about Accent is Accent, and Take 6 is Take 6? There's plenty of space for both groups
@@AndrewKesler Completely agree! Both groups share precision execution and arranging, and both make wonderful music that is profoundly enjoyable. IMHO Take 6 were the original pioneers into complex six-part jazz tonality harmonies and in-the-pocket time-keeping when they came on the scene in the 80's, and they extended the multi-part jazz vocal tradition that was pioneered before THEM by folks like LH&R and The Manhattan Transfer, who extended the VOCALESE 'tradition'(?) of Eddie Jefferson, King Pleasure, etc.. And on it goes with Jacob Collier, Accent et al; I look forward to whatever innovations Accent will bring to the table in the future!
