i love the storytelling element where minthy is equipped with the scalpel, like she grabbed whatever tool she could for self defense

Shovel was permanently detected due to the sphere in the second floor. Sometimes things that seem to be just on one floor traverse thru the third dimension. If you cast HoH in Carrions house on one floor is carries over to the other floors. Don't think that this is intended, though 😁. Seems that Larian was discovering third dimension in this game but forgot some specifics - which is OK, if you know it. Some bugs you just gonna love.
Hah yea that sphere was super annoying! Funny that HoH hits through floors like that. That’s how powerful the spell really is! 😂

The comment you made about throwing is rough with that one guard that patrols. At about the 9:54 mark where your comment is, I normally stop that guard right there and push them in the opening of the fence. If the shove fails you can always switch to attack of some kind. This is also the same spot I throw the 2 eyes that are patrolling as my first move in the prison.

i just realized you can use shovel for triggering suprise attacks without the entire party needing to hide
