same! I've seen suits try to hide human legs like this but it still looks *too* janky, but here it's pretty damn close and not too distracting at least!
Nobody is talking about this in the comments and this has nothing to do with your comment (which I agree with), but the Allosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex lived at very different times. Allosaurus lived during the Late Jurassic, while the Rex lived during the Late Cretaceous
I’m so glad to see a pterosaur costume. The body of a pterosaur is oddly similar to the body of a human so to see a geosternbergia costume makes me very happy.
That’s a fight between an older brother and his younger brother. It is usually followed by screaming and crying for mom and/or dad from the younger brother and “I barely touched you” from the older sibling.
I saw quetzalquetlas at Syracuse NY and the animatronic was massive it dwarfed everyone and many other Dino animatronics, it really put into scale how small we are
when i was younger i saw a show like this and as a very young child who was in to dinosaurs it was a really magical experience. This brings back good memories.
Ayy just saw your BtS video on these guys as well! Glad they got to do the Ankylosaurus they wanted to do...Next up should be Pachycephalosaurus no doubt! :P
They’re controlled entirely by a pilot inside the suit (though a couple of them have two pilots). There’s no animatronics involved. There are small cameras hidden in the suits that feed into closed-circuit monitors inside. The use radio or something like that to communicate with each other and the keepers. These are the only dinosaurs in the world that have the look and realism of a detailed animatronic dinosaur, but the lightness, safety, speed and real time response to the environment you can only get from a human performer.
I LOVE that we’re finally getting more paleo-accurate pterosaurs in media. They really went above and beyond to make the pteranodon look amazing and accurate, unlike the ‘Rodan inspired’ abominations we see so often.
Denver, Colorado? It wasn’t Dino-A-Live. The only place to see them is in Japan. They haven’t had any shows outside of their country, though I hope they will do a tour someday. I think Americans would love this.
I always wondered why current movies don’t utilize as much full bodied animatronic/puppet practical effects like these…they can even blend in some CGI for the moving motions but the level of detail in practical puppets surpasses any of the fluidic glossy CGI used today IMHO. Awesome that you got to witness this irl 👏 Hopefully one of these days you take a trip to Beijing to ride the Jurassic World ride at Universal Studios over there! That would make an awesome vlog 👍🙏
@@AncientCreature-i2o well you have watched JP3 right? John Winston’s studios built a Spinosaur animatronic that was 13.7 meters (45ft) in length and weighed around 12.5 tons so not sure what you’re getting at
I love those dinosaur models, especially the T. rex. I wish that that was how dinosaurs actually looked like (I know they didn’t look like that, but why not imagine?).
They also do shows with just a single dinosaur at Japanese malls, parks, auditoriums, etc. The video to check out is of their Allosaurus show that surprised hundreds of school kids in their gymnasium. Parents were there, too, but it was mostly kids. For about 40 minutes, the Allosaurus attacked and menaced everybody, eventually just walking right into the audience and chasing the children around the entire gymnasium. Neither they nor their parents seemed to know about DINO-A-LIVE, so they never imagined something like this.
It’s a bunch of dudes in suits and unlike the Godzilla movies the body is facing horizontally. It’ll be hard for them to land a good bite when doing that and also they might damage it.
Maybe watch more than ten seconds in this clip, then. People have filmed the entire show and put it on RUclips, not to mention thousands of their other smaller shows with one or two dinosaurs that visit schools and parks. They bite a lot and they often shake their heads, which are made with some kind of foam. The teeth, too. They look heavy and solid but it’s more like a firm pillow. That’s why they are completely safe to bite kids and adults-and they do. Not so much in this particular show, as the “keepers” are the ones bitten the most, but in the smaller shows, they bite everybody. I’ve never seen a Dino-A-Live that did not have children crying and screaming almost immediately.
thats awesome, although i think what i saw was cooler, theres an exhibition in canada missisauga called Jurassic World: The Exhibition, you should go there if you ever get the chance, its amazing, i probably shouldn't spoil it for you (i was about to, but i didn't, i thought you would think its amazing before you even saw it so yeah)
Dino suits keep getting better and better. Excited to see how they will look like in 10 years or so
Wait
OMG REAL GOJI CENTER
Urangutan kong
In 10 years dinosaurs will be genetically made
Dinosaurs will be real in 10 years wont need a suit
Anky and allo fighting? PREPOSTEROUS
Indeed my good sir ☕️
Indeed
Allo was a jurassic creature anky was a Cretaceous
@@THERMOEDITZ yeah and they've both been revived and now they both share a space during the cenozoic era. I don't see how thats confusing..
The show has to do with time travel
Damn!! I love how they hid the human legs on the suits! The biggest problem with dino suits is the exposed human legs, but they pulled it off here :D

That look so cool massive respect to those people who made the models and everything 👏

That looks amazing hopefully some day i get to see it! As someone who is crazy in love with dinosaurs this looks like a dream come true for me
Wow that's very cool. Definitely deserves a like
True
Almost thought the dinosaurs were CGI on a flat screen! Shows just how amazing the suits are!
That was the lightest whack of a club from an Ankylosaurus if I've ever seen one-
That is a love tap lmao. Anky just boop the Allo 😍

Alosaurus and Ankylosaurs: *arguing about the geopolitical state of the world*
Tyrannosaurus: can you both SHUT UP?
"He so chonky" Got me
Same 😂
Lmao the Trex roaring was funny af bro 😂
Real ones recognize that rex roar as the Jpog Carchar. Hit me right in the nostalgia
Freaking awesome. Younger me would have been excited and scared at the same time
I saw quetzalquetlas at Syracuse NY and the animatronic was massive it dwarfed everyone and many other Dino animatronics, it really put into scale how small we are
they should do a show like this but with dragons
Yeah but the problem is the fire attack that might burn the audience
These could make a fine low budget movie out of those Dino costumes!
Hell yeah, that would be awesome!
The T-Rex Roar needs an oscar
when i was younger i saw a show like this and as a very young child who was in to dinosaurs it was a really magical experience. This brings back good memories.
I appreciate that you use the soundtrack from walking with dinosaurs! That's what I grew up with! I'd kill to see a show like this 😭

LOOKS AMAZING WELL JEL! 😂
“Merchandising merchandising merchandising!!!” 🤣🤣🤣

This looks so cool! The detail on the dinosaurs is amazing.
The coordination to animate!

Exclusively in Japan.
