I do not see the advantage of this. Too small, struggles with light snowfall and you can probably clear off the snow in 1/2 the time with a ICE/electric stand behind snowblower. $8k for this is just silly
This robot can be run every couple of hours, so it never has to deal with 24 inches of snow. That fact that you can clear the snow faster using a manual method defeats the whole purpose of the automation. The goal is to set it an forget it and not have to watch it. This leaves us free to post comments on RUclips. It is true that the price needs to come down. It will. It is high right now to help limit the rollout and quickly recoup the R&D.
