@@RaeesKhan-xn5wx there’s no such thing as a rank 1 character player in a fighting game. Ranked 1 player yes but not character. It doesn’t make sense in a fighting game, more than likely a OTP but he’s new to t8
@@watchtheisolation8514there are literally leaderboards for characters based on players' elo. Even after reaching GOD you can bring your character rating up.

Man its crazy how fast they master these characters even though the move list semi stays the same but new stances/mechanics are brought into.
It's pretty much exactly the same as 7...the new stuff is easy as fuck to learn

Most of this match was just not knowing the matchup I think, because surely people will start ducking df1,4 and whatever that mid,high kicks were right? Or do these strings have mixups?
It was not knowing the matchup yes. I played against two Eddy players last night and beat them 3-0 each time. But I've been playing Tekken for a very long time, so I know his attacks and where he's safe on block. He does have a few new surprises that caught me off guard, there are some new mixups in his strings
What does Eddy's green icon count mean?
It's similar to what Bryan has when he has extra fire blow techniques. He has particular techniques incorporated with his moveset. When icons goes 2 beside of it, the techniques becomes stronger.

Most of the moves of Eddy can be counte by sidesstep But tht dragonov don't do thts y the pressure get over him
this drag is pretty good, but probably feels bad to be beaten by a pro's day 1 Eddy even if legacy plays a big role
Eddy has been re-worked. There is no reason to feel bad losing to essentially a brand new character

Doesn't matter if it was that way in t7, it's a problem. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's pay 2 win, but it's close. Eddy is gonna be a common character for pluggers I'm sure, cus they just pick whoever has the least counterplay. I imagine Eddy will destroy up to ruler ranks maybe higher and then high rank people will know the counters
@@boringname3657 Replay feature. That means your gonna have to run into one and lose, but you will atleast be able to lab situations against him and even control him (for 10 seconds). May as well purposefully hold back an entire round to have that be your block round and test his framdata on block during the replay

I believe that most of eddy's moves go non-punished. Most of stuff i see jeondding ,pinya and rangchu abuse are punishable. People need more time to figure out
