@@ojsojs6004 Jdcr got "dominated"? He got to top 6 with him, and Ulsan won the matches he played on him. There is a good variety of successful characters right now(and dvj is not one of them), but Dragunov is constantly showing up in top 8 and doing generally well, in every region.
@@instawale1 Nah, there is no regenerating once you get hit ( not talking about guard damage). You can see from these matches, the perfects comes from sustained pressure. It's the same from other matches.

Those were some crazy ducks from Qudans 8:42 just like in from the tournament.
Two top 5 characters and yet Dragunov is still clearly head and shoulders above even DJ.
Tournament results do not suggest dvj is top 5 at all.
Those two definitely got all the love in this game. Dragunov especially. He's had a solid arsenal since T6, but he gets better with every installment.

It's actually an excellent anti-mishima tool, if they try to FF2 from distance the 3+4 will often clip them for big damage.

Qudans seems to have a much more relaxed slow play style then before, Koma, is great with Dragu but if either of the faces JDCR... its over for them
I have seen way more perfects in just the few months T8's been released than the entirety of T5,T6 and T7's lifespan combined.
It's mainly because of how heat and pressure changed the game.
I'm pretty sure if you regenerate grey health to full you still get a perfect, that's definitely a contributing factor
