I just came across your channel, watched this and subscribed without hesitation. The TMD area looks really good, with some good detail (the guy inspecting the boxes) and it doesn't look too cluttered or draw attention away from the trains. That 33 in DRS is absolutely beautiful. Best regards, Lee
Hi Lee, Thanks for your comment and sub, very much appreciated! Glad you like the TMD, I do want to avoid making it too cluttered, as it is a small space, but will add more detail in the future. Cheers Reggie.
Spot on with reference to the Hunt coupling's problem of parting under load. Mine did on corners and s bends, despite me buying the specific HST set! Mine also kept popping out of the NEM pockets and then snapped due to being brittle when I tried to tweak their insert legs further apart! All in all poor. Only good for short, light wagon trains. I use black nail varnish successfully on the point frogs and crossovers to prevent shorting.
Thanks for your comment - yes had same issues with Hunt Couplings, either come out as loose or break trying to remove. Everyone raved about them at first but I'm not impressed at all. Just hope Hornby get some stock soon of theirs! Cheers Reggie
