How Farms Work by Ryan Kuster is a RUclips channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like. These videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us and we look to educate the world on many essential agriculture topics.
How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

This is a throwback to your early videos. I can’t say how welcome it is to both see and hear. Thank you Ryan and Company!

Poor GoPro😅 it made some nice shots tough😉👍 great video👍👍
Great Video Ryan, I agree the wrapper is a great purchase, thanks for sharing
Good to see you are having fun getting the last few miles out of that camera!

Those were some awesome shots with the broken camera u definitely need to keep doing that everytime u break a camera but still functional and huge congrats to u on buying the bale wrapper very excited for u and can't wait to see that wrapper in more videos to come
reminds me of my drinking days when the room would spin. Thanks Ryan!
Yea! I had that feeling last Saturday night.
Good job on the cool shots
Hey Ryan, thank you for another video. Great drone footage. Take Care, Take it Easy and Trust JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mighty stuff Ryan, Go, GoPro-2💯👌👍🙏😎
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Wishing you and your family the best.
When I tedded out my hay I run a little bit slower ground speed. It seems to help in the distribution of the hay over a wider area. Just a thought.
Thanks Ryan! Some great cam shots... as usual.
Challenge see if you can mount your go pro inside your round baler maybe not enough lighting inside or room?
great video, I laughed a lot !:D
Great awesome video
My hay fever kicked in watching that.
Drone footage is always awesome !! Yal stay safe
Never dreamed I'd be inside one of those gizmos watching the blades spin around me! Thanx...?
That is one heck of a go pro. 👍🏾
Real nice hay, real cool you bought the wrapper. Showing us even what happens with wet bales, knife shreded bales, and not. It makes safe storage outside, and with your tracked skid steer its a win win! Maybee buy some wrap in bulk?
Send a $50 super chat for a new camera. Love the demolition camera experiences.
Love the vids we do hay to
Great video Ryan, looks like a beautiful day. All I can say that is one tuff little Go Pro😮

Feel like im on the swings ride at the chippewa County fair
Good video
Nice video
I hear John Deere moving parts of the company to Mexico. Who knows how much of the John Deere line will end up in mexico.. Do you think it will keep its status after it does this?
Extreme adventure videography?
So, questions.
If you want leaf structure in your hay, instead of just stems, does it seem that Tedding hay will break down the leaf structure and leave only stems?
Understand crimping hay in the swather preserves leaves, does tedding do the opposite?
Hay stems are crimped to allow the juice out of the stems. Notice did not mention leaves. Leaves falling off is a much bigger problem with dry legumes than grasses.
This destroying a gopro attempt is showing you all the good shots you can get.
Hì from oz ryan. When did the light bùlb moment happen. Those figures you quoted were being quoted 40+ years ago. I cant give any more encouragement because your at the top. You should be doìng lecture tours
Hey Ryan!! At about the 4:30 mark I noticed some lighter colored areas. What is going on there?
That’s a rock patch with shallow soil. The alfalfa didn’t make it as many years there and it’s been filled with grass
