How do you mix your dplv as a sealer. There is nothing in the TDS about mixing it as such. I have used it as a sealer mixed 2:1:2 just curious how you mix it
It's for better hold out and especially for coverage. These paint formulas are designed to go over a specific shade of gray ground coat. It especially helps when spraying a translucent color like red or blue pearls. Some colors, you can take 4 or 5 coats down to 2 or 3 if using the recommended ground coat.
with as much as you guys paint and especially painting cars apart, it would be a good investment to switch to a side or true downdraft booth to eliminate the air flow/overspray issue.
0:45 RUclips's closed captioning said a "booth full ofarts." Thank God for the charcoal filters in your respirator.
How are you getting even coverage if you painted hood , fenders and doors separately? Paint match is excellent and nice work btw.

Yeh i was thinking the same let base coat sit for 40min least some of the solvents are escaping
If you have cured primer why do you seal? For uniformed coverage?
