‘This is the Day’ is a one-off from the past, a recording made by Richard Tandy and myself back in the year of analog. We were known as R & D back then and this song was actually the B side of our single ‘Berlin’.
I decided to put it out now because one morning I heard it again, and I also caught the news... I thought: ‘I have to put it out now. It’s a song for today despite it being done awhile back.’

Hey Dave! I know this may seem random and out of nowhere, but I realized you have a couple of individual songs that aren't a part of anything, like "Liz in my heart" from a bit ago, and some others, I was wondering if you've ever though of compiling all these non-album songs and make a like compilation album with all of them? or at least, make some kind of playlist for them so they don't get lost and fans can find them more easily!
