    I fixed the jello on mine by changing the naked o3 camera bracket to the Flywoo version and also flipping the gummies for the camera backwards to have the thick part of the rubber on the inside instead of the outside. Before doing this I had an unbelievable amount of jello I even reached out to iFlight saying it was unacceptable but after the changes I made it has literally no jello even in a lot of wind. Also added a Flywoo nd filter which I’m sure is helping.

      That's an amazing tip, I'll try thanks! ND of course works good but they have to work without it

    Awesome content. Do you know what’s the factory rates on the defender 16? Trying to put mines back to factory

    "I'm interested in purchasing a Tiny Whoop compatible with the DJI O3 system to use with my DJI Goggles V2 and Remote Controller 2. I'm considering the following options:
    - Geprc Darkstar 20
    - Happymodel Mobula 8
    - iFlight Defender 16
    - Betafpv Pavo Pico
    Could you please share your opinion if you have experience with any of these drones, or recommend another interesting option?"

      Made a review for all of them, soon will be reviewing the Flylens 85 and Pavo 20, then I will have reviewed basically all of them and will be able to make a video comparison! So far my fav is the darkstar

    this looks really good, i thought the defender 25 was great too, but the addition of naked 03 is a great touch. something like this is gonna be the ultimate beginner drone, if it was a bit tougher.
    fantastic review, you did everything i would do so all the questions i had got answered. including, ''is this a perfect chicken chasing machine?''

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  10 месяцев назад +1

      I would still go with defender 25, still o3 and can be made naked! Also the battery has much less drawbacks and they made it usbc as well!
      Also it flies better also in acro!
      But in the end the only thing that matters is how good they can chase chicken ahahahah
      Thank you for watching ☺️☺️

    You should do a long range flight to the mountain over there, wherever this might be. 🙂

      That mountain is called Soratte, there is an anti atomic bunker in there! It's 10 km out need a proper rig to do it

    Hi thank you very much for this video. I recently bought this defender 16, I'm a complete beginner to drones and I think I made a mistake... 😭 I wanted to configure the drone on betaflight (I am also new to betaflight) and I believe I reinstalled the initial iflight software on the chip and deleted all the drone parameters by flashing the drone's mother chip. Since then the drone has turned on but the 03 air unit no longer turns on when I turn on the drone.... On the other hand, when I plug in the o3 is recognized by the DJI assistant when I plug it into the computer.... I imagine that the drone presets have also been reset... Do you have a solution or an explanation to resolve this problem? Thank you 🙏🙏

    Ciao bel video :) avresti qualche consiglio su che radio comando e "visore" prendere per uno totalmente novizio e che non ha mai volato fpv ? conviene prendere subito rc2 e goggles 2 dji ? grazie in anticipo

    I made review for this drone too.. it was super jello and props easily broke... Defender25 still d best compared to def16.

      Ohh so my findings are confirmed! Yeah defender 25 was such a good one, with a lot less drawbacks and flew very nice

    Amazing review as always but please consider editing your videos in 30 fps (RUclips nerd statistics says it was uploaded as 25 fps). At 8:20 the mismatch in fps is so huge that it's hard to watch it :D As long as you are recording during the day or not recording old light bulbs working on 50 Hz power grid in Europe the smoothest is to IMHO always to record in 30 fps. Almost all monitors works on 60 Hz refresh rate so 30 fps videos is always two monitor refreshes per one video frame. No fractional frame times!

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  10 месяцев назад

      Thank you for the amazing suggestion, I'll try making my next videos in 30fps, not the next cause already recorded!
      What kind of issues do you notice?
      The issue is my a7siii, changing from NTSC to pal is a pain and have to reformat the SD every time, and I end up forgetting and get flicker when working lol
      Can I export in 30 fps and maybe frameblend or something like that? So I can keep shooting pal and avoid issues

    • @rfly-fpv
      @rfly-fpv 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@Rimzler Maybe I'm different but I saw heavy stuttering especially near 8:20 when you where orbiting. Frame blending is IMHO even more ugly - NEVER use blend :D
      If you absolutely need to use 25 fps in your Sony A7S III camera maybe you can just always use 30 fps timeline. Stuttering is especially visible on fast moving scenes like... flying drones :D If drone records 30 fps then on 30 fps timeline the resulting RUclips video will be also 30 fps (1:1 match). Other other hand, your face and when you unbox stuff, is mostly static so it could be even recorded on 25 fps and when thrown into 30 fps timeline it will be more or less fine.
      IN SHORT: record on all drones in 30/60 fps, record on Sony A7S III in 25 fps if you really need BUT edit on 30 fps timeline and render for RUclips in 30 fps. Drone shoots will be always smooth, unboxing or your face will be a bit stuttering but nobody will notice :D
      In theory if all lights in Europe will be LED lights working on DC (which is almost the case) there will be no need to use 25 fps (PAL if you will). 25 fps doesn't make sense if all monitors are 60 Hz. BTW I'm from Poland, the "PAL" country were we have 50 Hz power grid.
      Personally I would always set every recording device to 30 fps (actually 30 fps is NTSC). BTW, you know but maybe others not - there is no PAL or NTCS anymore. I know that manufacturers often name it like that in the Menus but this technology is dead for many years already ;) Only the power grid flicering issue reminds us of the old analog times.
      In my short and rather amateur carrier there was only ONE place when light were producing flickering on GoPro. I had to switch GoPro from 30 fps (old NTSC) to 25 fps (old PAL) only for ONE shoot. I was flying a bit slower. To put it on 30 fps timeline I simply set video attributes in media window from 25 to 30 fps before dragging it to timeline (DaVinci Resolve). Effectively video was speed up but I was flying my drone slower. In the end nobody noticed as there was no moving object in that shoot ;)

      @rfly-fpv perfect I'll edit my next video in a 30fps timeline, will be uploaded in one/2 days, let me know if the issue is better!
      Here in Italy there is always something flickering ahahah, I tried shooting 30 and 60 often but had issues when forgetting about it

    DONT BUY defende 16 ! Qaud is fun to fly but all the footage is Jello. ive had 2 of these and the footage is unusable. the camera mount needs to be soft mounted and also not connected to frame as a unibody to mount. i love flying this but not worth it. i bought ND filters hoping to fix the issue and it still is jello. With a little more engineering to make a soft mount camera dampener this could be a cool little micro drone. Another issue is battery's fail pretty quickly. Ive had mine for 6 months and all ready have thrown 5 battery away because they wont take a charge anymore. Only fun is flying it indoor but its usless if i cannot record video footage. Oh i forgot to mention the props they give you fall off in mid flight. the did send me replacement gemfans but dont use the stock iflights.

    A Lot of jello ... this is bad, I can see a Lot of jello. Not good for acro, not good product. Mobula 8 is better hahaha

    • @Rimzler
      @Rimzler  10 месяцев назад

      I was checking the recorder unstabilized video and had not that much jello, but when stabilizing it came out, that's maybe not jello but some kind of gyro resonance that makes the video shake
