Bringing out Sceptile but no Mega Evolution is the biggest slap to the face
I wish there was mega evolution I transferred my Charizard from let's go Pikachu to Scarlet to play the dlc with if only there was mega evolution that'd be so much fun

They really make the E4 this good. Even if you're level 100, one mistake could cost you a lot

@@98jacobson77 yeah looks that way, if in doubt just do what I do, concentrate supereffective hits on one enemy at a time, minimize threat levels whenever possible.

That Archaludon was beating the breaks off my Poor team. I was planning to jump that bastard with an Alolan Ninetails and Sylveon but that didn't work!
You be four times weak to steel moves.
Archaludon is probably one of the best Dragon types to have on your team, as it also has the steel typing to Shut down Dragon's weaknesses while also having the benefit of not being weak to Fire
Your only options are to hit Archaludon With a Fighting or Ground type attack, which completely throws the player off and I like it!
It’s so ironic that Drayton is so lazy that it’s surprising he doesn’t use something like Slaking or Snorlax in his team, and yet dragon types require the most work to raise out of all the types
Shows how much natural talent he has if he’s that nonchalant but still has a powerful team.
It helps that his grandfather is a certain Dragon-type Gym Leader.

This guy is so hard to beat, I have to import legendaries from my other games and not even that is working.
Try using Ubers-build Espathra and Miraidon together, and give the former an Electric Seed to give it additional bulk and more Stored Power damage thanks to the latter's Hadron Engine. Espathra should also know Calm Mind and Dazzling Gleam, fourth move is up to you, but Roost and Protect are highly recommended. Giving it Tera-Fairy is optional but works great. Miraidon is only there for Hadron Engine, so how you want to build the futuristic sandwich lizard is entirely up to you. This worked wonders for me against Drayton despite my team being at lower levels than his.
Or use some fairy-type Pokémon. 🧚♀️
Dude I lost the first 3 times cause I used my shiny team that I just got from hunting composes of infernape, blaziken, empoleon, lapras, electivire and metagross I got smacked only my lapras was tanking and dodging it took out 3 but lost to archaludon I then brought out my shiny goodra, garchomp and dragonite from the pc and no lie my goodra wiped out his whole team 😂 he tanked a hit with 1hp left and I still had my empoleon, dragonite and garchomp ready 😂😂

Boooooo. Why is the Pokémon community so lazy? This is one of the best teams in the entire series and instead of compelling content with level appropriate pokemon and strategies used, we get vids like this where level 100 pokes come up.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are one of the worst games I've ever played. If I can cut corners and beat bosses as fast as possible so I can stop playing the game, I'll do that

I’m sure there’s some incentive for you to make videos about the series, so in my opinion your excused from my comment since it was meant for die hard fans that have been asking for harder battles throughout a couple generations of the title.

Just so you know, I really wanted to enjoy Scarlet & Violet. I grew up with Pokemon games, gen 4 is my favorite gen and pokemon rangers guardian signs is one of my favorite games. I just cant get it in me to enjoy this game. I missed when Pokemon games were 2d top down and linear, instead of being open world with “high quality” graphics.
@@FazFaz 100% understandable. I think the switch from 2d to 3d and a focus on exploiting the technical aspects of the switch definitely is a valid reason for losing some of the audience. It actually took me a long time to get used to it and I can see why some people never came around but play it for nostalgia sake. Pokémon is literally the only game I play as an adult and so when I saw that they tried to get as close to competitive as they’ve ever done, I thought it would be a bigger deal for a lot of fans who were annoyed at the easy mode vibe of the vanilla games. Those concerns aren’t everyone’s, and your completely right in your criticism. I encourage you to keep making videos and hope that you have a happy new year, thanks too for engaging with your viewers!
Exactly my thoughts. I enjoyed BDSP ( mostly because of nostalgia, but I loved the chibis ) but the game would've been much better received ( I think ) if Platinum was the game that got remade.
That being said, I'm excited for the potential gen 5 remakes, and I really wonder what direction they're going. I wouldn't mind another chibi remake.

You have to catch Pokémon in the dlc area and use them
Defeat 3 Trainers, using ONLY Pokémon you caught there in the terarium, they won't accept if even ONE Pokémon in your team didn't come from there. Paldea, Kitakami, Raids or Trades, none from any of those places will be accepted, just catch Pokémon there in the terarium and they'll let you battle them, they're all Level 68, so you may or may not have to train them. Hope this was helpful. Oh and you're not actually required to have a full team, but bring extra in case you lose any.
