First of all, such a driven person and I admire you for that! What you said about not taking a sick day kind of made me think - us as a society should let go of the mentality that showing up really sick is something to applaud. If you work from home it might not be comparable but normal work situation you’re just getting other people sick as well, worse even I’ve seen a sniffling restaurant worker, possibly making customers sick too (people have chronic illnesses that can flare up from someone else’s small flu) prolonging the healing, slower less efficient working, overall just making things so much harder in pain and possibly make mistakes. As a manager I always emphasize on health before work. Better people feel, better they work, better results. If you’re a business owner, taking a day off is directly negative on you but owners shouldnt expect the same sacrifice from others. I dont think it’s weak to have a sick day. Thats life and if you’re not okay with people getting sick and taking priority, hire robots 😂. Not saying you tamara, I dont even know your business 😄 but I see this everywhere and it’s sad. And people feel quilty for staying home. Miserable way to live.
I agree. I once worked a job and I felt absolutely HORRIBLE before my shift - not projectile vomiting or anything "visible", but I knew I just felt horrible. I tried calling in sick and my manager refused to let me stay home because it wasn't "serious"... I went in and felt so dreadful I was on the verge of tears for hours. Halfway into my shift I was so sick I fell down and almost passed out - then she finally let me go home. After that incident I had no respect left for my manager. There was no point in her making me come in anyway - the whole day I kept trying to find excuses to hide in the back and lie down. I believe that an employer should never question when their employee calls in sick - if they're sick they're sick (granted, as long as they don't do it ever other day of course). And never make them come in. PS this isn't aimed at you Tamara :) but yeah in general
When the person is really sick it is the best thing not to go to work, but there are people that are not coming to work saying that they are sick and in reallity they go to starbucks, party, beach, playing game on pc/ PlayStation and so on.
Thank you so much for watching! I would like to say that the answers in this video are to “HOW TO BE MOTIVATED TO WORK AND SUCCEED IN A HIGHLY COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT” not what I think every single one of you should do. If you want to be better you need to do an extra mile. I personally dont think i have many talents, but at least I know I can show dedication. That was the point of the video. To all the people saying “you shouldnt work more than you are supposed to” that is also ABSOLUTELY FINE, if that is your ambition. We are all different and its interested to see that I got either absolute love or hate for this video. Its fine to be different and its fine to want more OR less, my advice is just do YOU, and go after what you want to achieve. Most successful people in the history sure didnt do only as much as they had to, but it doesnt mean that they were the only happy people❤️ LOVE YOU ALL
Tamara Kalinic With all due respect, there is not even one message in this thread that can be considered as “hate”. If people disagree with you, it does not mean they hate you, I think that needs to be relearned in our society, especially among you “influencers”.
I never comment here and usually agree with your point of view. Being a hard worker myself I think I only took a sick day when I got the flu. But, people need a mental health day from time to time and that is not a sign of weakness or laziness (I'm aware you dint say that). Anyways, just think we should take care of our mind, body and soul and take some time from time to time.
I’ve been where you are right now and I had a similar mentality to yours for years, including hard work, gym and no free time and eventually I lost control over my health. When I really needed the time off I couldn’t have it because I was so involved. What I’m trying to say is that I do admire your lifestyle but we need to have more time to ourselves before it’s too late. Hope I do make a point )) P.S. Listening further and hearing that you had to work through your sick days, that is exactly what happened to me! There was one time that I got a bad flu and fever and I still went to work and my classes, they kicked me out of both of the places! The argument was based on making others around me sick. Shall we take those days off?!
The argument that you make others sick is a good one. Productivity wise (as a strategy consultant) I can say it is so extremely short sighted of managers to ask people to "push through" their days of fever which could potentially be the highly infectious actual flu. To have one non-productive (WEAKENED! SICK!) employee or manager work - not getting results but with a high probability of mistake in their work - and expose dozens to their virus or bacteria which might lead to a. (well-founded) absence or b. non-productivity when working sick plus risk of infection of further employees. Risk of mistakes and risk of infection (again, risk of absences and risk of mistakes) multiply. Alternative scenario: One person cures themselves for a couple of days, there is issues of replacing them (which is better for one than for two dozens of employees you will agree!). End of issue. It makes no economic sense. The only place where this makes economic sense is when you like Tamara are self employed. If you dont get the deals, a competitor will. But that does not annihilate the risks for her long term success if she endangers her health. Working while having a fever (sign of the body's need to battle aggressors) always comes with risks of severe damage to your organs, especially the heart. The risk isn't high, but if it materializes, the damage is immense. And often irreparable. Leading to, economically speaking, immense disadvantages for life term productivity.
dinavienna I completely agree and those kinds if experiences push you forward and make you become self employed in the end. You don’t want to risk others’ health and time, because opportunity cost is always high. You’d rather spend less time on being sick and more time on being productive even if life throws balls at you. I am self employed and I believe it was the best decision to become one so far, and I do appreciate my past now ever more.
From a social work perspective, work-life balance is so important. However, I think you practice that. Also, sometimes working harder just means working smarter... learning how to multi-task or how to be more efficient. I am in my 40’s and I agree that we are the creator of our own “brands” so to speak. In that respect, honesty and good work ethics always pays off. Love your honesty Tamara. Love from Canada.
I don't think it's fair to judge people who get their work done within their scheduled time as "just average". Some people work fast, distraction free and get lots of work done in short-focused time. Just because you stay overtime isn't a guarantee to success. How long you work isn't a measure of success, it's about how much you get done and how much value you bring in to the company. Look at the insane working standards in Japan and Japan has the highest level of suicide rate. There's a direct correlation between work culture and people's mental well being. It isn't okay to promote people to sacrifice their well being and emotional hygiene just to show that you're a good employee.
I think its 100% fine to have a different opinion, but its also a little bit extreme to take it to this point. I never said you need to work until you are depressed or suicidal. As someone who suffered with anxiety I would never promote this, and don't think its fair twisting my words against me
But you did say that you could accept only 2 “excuses” from your employees - vomiting and diarrhoea. It is extreme, isn’t it? Your work ethic is great I guess (for you), well done, but we are all different and just because you never took one day off when sick doesn’t mean you are better than others and/or ppl who do take sick leave are not good employees/ambitious/lazy etc. I do get your point - working hard brought you where you are today but don’t forget that you are one of ‘few’ who is doing her dream job and no matter how difficult and tiring could be, you still feel satisfaction and it’s normal for you to stay awake until very late, at the end of the day it’s your company/you are paid very well for it/able to travel the world/afford yourself things others can only dream about (especially in countries like Serbia), so working non-stop and actually telling others that this is the only way is wrong. When you worked for Hollister I bet you didn’t work every day 15 hours, but you actually did more than others within 8 hours shift and by being someone who work hard and efficient you’ve got pay rise, bonuses etc. If I remember well you did complain about your previous pharmacist job as you had to work long hours all the time. You would never work 12-15 hours per day (not even 10 hours each day) for £30.000k or €300 in Serbia. Otherwise you would get to the point thinking: wait, I should have my own life as well. Work is not everything I’ve got in this life. Can’t expect from people who work for others to stay longer always when ‘big boss’ expect that as it’s endless game, even with bonuses. This above is not motivating others - this make ppl feel like they will never achieve anything as they don’t have your courage/dream job/goals...You are influencer and you should know what a massive impact your videos have. Think about your message and video title once again.
@@Sonjica251 totally agree, especially that in one of her previous videos (I've been following her for more than three years, and she was my favourite blogger) she said she doesn't want to talk about fillers, because she is aware how much influence her words have. Tamara, are you aware of your influence now?
Соња Радаковић You said it better then me. I don’t think she differentiates between working hard for your own success at your dream job and working hard as an employee for the benefit of the boss/company.
I love your fashion videos and I usually agree with what you have to say, so this video took me by surprise. I disagree with most of your responses. A persons wellbeing and mental health is more important than any kind of work accomplishment and no one should ever have to compromise with their health. And those who do take time off shouldn’t be considered average. It is quality of work that is noticed not just quantity. If you are truly valued by your employer for your talent, when you are absent, you will be missed. You employer will notice how valuable you are, it doesn’t just make you average.
@@TamaraKalinic you said it when you explained you were in severe pain during an event to the point where you were carried/had to crawl into your appartment, and you took it as a sign of excelling commitment to your job. When it really is an excessive risk to your long term ability to work; a single event is not worth your long term health - even economically speaking - which sounds harsh - one event's benefit in revenue and exposure pales compared to the thousands you can do when keeping yourself healthy. I don't know if you read my previous comment but I told the tale of a friend who had virtually no symptoms other than a bothersome cough over weeks, so much less than the signs your body showed you!!, and was on the virtue of actual death by pneumonia and had already acquired a, thankfully only temporary, heart condition overworking herself "with a mere cough".
Imam 21 godinu i jos uvijek trazim sebe. Zelim jednog dana biti ovako stabilna i samostalna, svaka ti cast za ovakav mindset. E to je za mene uspjeh jer psiha stvarno jeste pola posla za sve ciljeve koje sebi zacrtas. 👏
I ve worked in sooo many different careers / jobs...bakery, photography, college athlete, tax accountant, farmer, animal rescuer, healthcare worker... many different fields, all a passion, well...we don t have to choose ONLY one path...so many life choices...recreate, rejuvenate...Experiment and be Kind! Money is not everything!
I completely agree!!! Its absolutely fine not to know what you want, its so fine to experiment and to try different things. There is no right or wrong at all❤️
I own a business and make good money. But I don’t feel genuine happy and successful. So it hits me hard every time you say that you are so happy about what you’re doing! Now I’m in the intersection of making changes and build something new for my business, though I’m on my 2nd trimester and so emotional, I know I can do it. It’s first time I reach out! Thank u for this video!
It is not weak to listen to your body. Not to panic and drop everything any time you feel bad, but there are moments when you need to listen to it and take care of yourself. We only have one body and can not exchange it. My mom worked for 25 years all the time and then she fell ill because all of the negligence to her body and since then never recovered. Unable to work, unable to enjoy her life, unable to do anything. I have worked myself out for 15 years until my body shot down. You are still young and maybe those things didn't come to you yet or your body is wired differently.. but believe me, as you have said, everybody is replaceable and once you are not able to perform as previously done its over and you will wonder what you have done it all for. P.S. and yes, if you think all women can push though period pain then you haven’t felt it for real (you’re lucky). Some women, me included, faint every month due to pain.. many times I was carried our from office because of this. Do not wish that kind of pain to anyone. You should know this since you’ve worked in that field.
You really do need to work in order to get anywhere in life, but please don't burn yourselves out. Work smarter, not harder. What can you do now that makes the biggest difference? Don't try to do everything, do not try to please everyone
Tamara, the wisest, most intelligent voice among influencers right now. I love your fashion/travel content, but this kind is definitely my favorite. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
I dont think forcing your employees to work when they are ill is being a good employer. It affects a persons physical AND mental health. This sort of mentality is contributing to ''presenteeism'' which is when people feel they can't take rest time when they are ill so turn up to work too ill to really be productive anyway, and probably make their health even worse. If you never take sick days fine, but don't judge others for doing so, cos people have all kinds of health battles going on and are doing the best they can.
What she is talking about here are cases when normally healthy and young people get sick. She is NOT talking about people who have major illness or any chronic decease. When you have a period (unless you have endometriosis) or a minor headache, toothache, stomachache etc. you are NOT sick. I'm sorry. This is just an excuse.
@@GGTanguera she said anything except diarrhoea or projectile vomiting isn't acceptable to take time off. The only person who can decide if they feel well enough to work is the individual, no one else. Health is extremely important and forcing yourself into work when you are unwell is proven to destroy productivity and make the illness worse. Of course taking advantage and calling in sick when you aren't actually sick is something totally different.
@@GGTanguera I agree. Nowadays, there are sick days for feeling “too stressed” or having a bad night. She has the right to hire whom she wants to do the job she needs. I see more and more that people find excuses to lay back and get things the easy way.
Hi Tamara, i have never commented on a RUclips before but this really got to me. Am a young girl who got married a year ago and lost my husband during my seventh month of pregnancy in 2018. I lost all confidence and the urge to succeed. But as you spoke it felt like it was directed at me. This means alot to me. Stay blessed darling.
If i could help a young human being like yourself in such a difficult life situation it would be a life mission for me. I am absolutely here for anything you might need❤️ so proud of you for having motivation to push through
Hvala ti sto postojis, u moru svega sto nas je zadesilo ti mi dajes mir, spokoj, srecu I bezgranicnu motivaciju! Hvala ti Tamara, predivna si! You are my daily inspiration ❤️🍀
A splendid video to watch, and such great timing for me too. I was at a crossroad and was wondering if things were too late for a fresh start. After watching your video, I am charged and headed straight to the planning board again. Thank you for being so practical and real. Lots of Love
Hi Tamara, I love your videos and your style, and you are very inspirational, but this is the first time that was a little disappointed. I’m also a hard worker and while I was working in one of the largest worlds corporation, I didnt call sick and went to the office, and people were angry about it, there was a pregnant lady and I felt so bad that I came to work; it could be rude and disrespectful to other people not calling sick when you really are. And all the great companies respect this policy. You need to respect yourself so that others can do that as well. Show the excellence in your work and in your relationships with colleagues, but that doesnt mean you need to die on desk. Don’t be so restrictive saying peope are weak if they call sick. It’s rude and childish thinking, and Im not talking about people who misuse this possibility. But in the other hand, I believe that you would agree with me and that you were reffering to those who are using every opportunity to avoid coming to work. Other than that, you said a lot of great stuff that I liked😊 Regards💖
Thats a different thing. Being ill and pulling a sickie are two different things. I am a health care professional and wouldnt advise anyone to spread a virus. Calling in sick for headache or a bit if period pain or bad digestion is different to being chronically ill or having a flu. I am not sure how people dont see the difference :( Anyway i really appreciate your opinion, but this is my opinion and its absolutely fine to have different opinions❤️❤️
@@TamaraKalinic speaking of nothing, Did you read that article were Professor Guillebaud from UCL compared period pain to pain caused by heart attack? If not, read it! I think it would interest you as a pharmacist! 💜
You're an example of the strong woman You're such an inspiration and this video has inspired me a looootttt Thank you so much dear Tamara SO MUCH LOVE 😙 ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤
Omg I see why I keep wanting to watching your videos, your frequency attracts me, I often find that you and I think the same way and I see that today we read the same book, I just also read “the one thing” and I’m going to make my life become better by using the contents in the book
The first part of the video makes so much sense, I completely agree with you. But when you started talking about being weak, I just have to disagree. Being ill with flu is not a weakness, having horrible period main is not a weakness. You didn’t take any sick days, but because of people like you, we’re in 2019 and nobody really understands that women can suffer A LOT during meanstrual circles. It should be considered as illness because sometimes you are not able to even stand up. We should talk about that freely and openly, tell to even our male employers that sorry, we are not coming to work because we are on our period. I am a dedicated employee, I dedicate all my attention during working hours and I don’t think that I should stay at work after hours. It shouldn’t determine my dedication, it just enables my employer to get more and more from me when I’m not getting compensated for it. And I’m not talking about special cases when they need me and I’m there because I value what I get in my work, so I help even if it’s 6:10pm. However, I don’t think it should he the norm and it definitely shouldn’t be encouraged by saying that of you work more hours, you’ll be a better employee and achieve more. People should be able to have free time and actually enjoy their life because most of us, unfortunaly, don’t enjoy our work as much as for example, you do. It’s not hating it either, it’s just you have work life, you put effort in it, but you have personal life, which is more important and you want to have time for it. Anyway, I am not hating on you or anything, I just mainly wanted to say that being ill is not a weakness and you do you, I’m still following you because I like what you do here on YT and Instagram :)
Gema Liutkevičiūtė I agree and would say that never being ill and therefore never needing to take sick leave is a matter of absolute good luck not an achievement.
Dear Tamara, U dont need to justify anything to the haters. Clearly they dont understand that everyone is unique in their own ways. Thank u for being open. And u r absolutely right, working thru all adversities due to commitment is definitely something i would want to pass down to my two daughters. And again, the right standard of work is Perfection. If u cant achieve it, then atleast go as near it as you can. Have a great day and do not let negative utube comments get u down. Think of the positive u r spreading. If anyone has a problem with ur content then its their problem not urs.
Guys, if anyone buys this story about not calling sick when you are, is crazy. First of all its not polite to go around coughing and spreading viruses. Better stay at your home for three days and come back in full strength. Whenever I hear someone talking about how its brave and how you are strong if you go sick to work is pure b******. It will never be fashion!
Jedno kratko i jasno hvala. Hvala sto nas ucis pravim vrijednostima i hvala sto si inspiracija mnogim mladim curama poput mene sirom svijeta. Hvala sto postojis!
I just watched you video I know it is too late to watch , but you also mentioned in video it is never too late to do anything what you love to do, So wow who can understand there work and there journey like you did. taking everything positive no matter what the situation/people might be.I say you are absolutely unique person that behaviour of yours made you a unique person. And well said Tamara ! Do more and more such motivational videos so everyone can learn more from you and learn to be a better understanding person like you !
You look so pretty! Love your motivational videos the most. Just a small "critizism": I think as an employee you should not always stay longer and work more and longer. In most offices people like to come earlier and stay longer to show that they are good employees. But just because you are more hours at work doesn't mean you work more or are more productive. Plus when you get paid for 40 hrs and every week you work 42 hrs you give your employer more than he gives you. But of course I get your point that you should always give your best :)
I think it’s a little naive to expect that somebody who works for you is going to do it as hard and stayed as motivated through their sick days as you do for your own business. You are not some kind of big corporation with benefits and career potential. Sure, there are perks of traveling and what not, but they are your assistants and there is no potential to go anywhere from there.
Which is why i didnt compare it to myself running a business and I never would. I work until midnight every day and it would be stupid to expect that from others, but I did say that I NEVER called in sick while working for somebody else, and that is the reason why i think my managers always kept promoting me and seeing that i am willing to work. :)
Tamara Kalinic I understand, but as you said, there was a possibility of promotion at those jobs for you. With a small business like yours, unless you give them a piece of the pie, there is nowhere to be promoted, so why work if you’re sick (or pretending to be sick?). If you were Apple or Google or Chanel, then people might actually work their ass of to get somewhere. Not all jobs deserve the same amount of effort and sacrifice, some jobs are just jobs until something better comes along.
I dont think so. Even in my small company i would ALWAYS notice when someone is working extra hard, there are pay rises, there are promotion. Maybe not so much in title but in monetary sense DEFINITELY.
There is the exposure the experience and the contacts together they can be parlayed into exciting offers....Christina has gone off to do othe things and she is not a stupid girl.
Tamara I just wanted to say that you are very inspirational! I watch you all the time and often go back over your videos. I am a bit older than you and at a slightly different stage in my life but every time I watch you or see your stories etc you literally inspire me in some way, big or small. So thank you for being you 😊😘
I love this video. If I had an older sister this would be the advice I would want to hear. Thank you so much. I agree all aspects. I think people don't push themselves as hard as they can and it's becoming a norm but it allows people such as yourself to stand out. Do the most with the time you have and don't take any time in life for granted.
Your such an inspiration and give me so much positive energy. I think if you love what you do, it’s easy to work hard or harder than someone who doesn’t love what their doing.
Do with enthusiam and diligence the jobs others don't want. You learn so much and people see what you do and so well. Not only that you gain so much experience that you can use and/or utilise as a transferrable skill. Nothing is wasted. 😊Ask questions and get yourself a mentor and you wil go far
For us a little older audience very good reminder of what should we do to be more successful in our own businesses. For younger audience listen very well to what Tamara is saying, time is the essence, use your time wisely, Always good to listen to you. Hvala sto si nam svima tako dobra inspiracija i uzor kroz godine :) Pozdrav iz Beograda.
Tamara: I don't think I'm successful. Also Tamara: I love my job! Also Tamara: As long as you love what you do you're successful *insert confused face gif* Edit after reading comments: Wow, look at all these people being offended for being called 'average'. What's so bad about being average? I used to think being rich is the only way to go, but in reality, most rich people are miserable assholes and the richest of all, well.. let's just say they like their "party" islands. Imo there's nothing wrong with living your average happy life being a normal, healthy human. Not saying I don't agree with Tamara's advice, I apply that when I want to achieve something, but then I get sick of being a capitalistic cog and just watch netflix for two weeks or yt videos that call me average and don't get triggered.
I think you got it right. I mean its absolutely fine being average, people took it like i was insulting them, took it so far to say tHat I extort people to work even if they are chronically ill and really refused to agree that the more we work the better we get at a skill. Its one thing to disagree and another thing to twist words
Thett Project I think she wanted to say that everybody who manage to do the job they love are successful, but she has not reached her maximum yet so because of that she can’t call herself fully successful.
You said that you are dealing with IBS. Me as well and I know that there are a lot more people struggling with it. Maybe you could talk about it in one of your videos? how do you manage to live with it? for me it is so stressfull and exhausting. kisses Tamara
100% agreeing with this video. We as human being can naturally can take it in so many different ways as we all have different views. But I am taking in all the positives and adapt the points that works for me 💕 ty Tamara, more of these videos as well as financial ones please 🙏🏽
I do that somewhat, but not as rigidly. I think I'll apply that more rigidly from now on. I'll be muscular as hell again (during my studies I actually allowed myself tv time only when doing exercise in front of the tv - can you imagine why I was super toned :D)
I believe that people that represent the best of what they do are there for all of those things you mentioned above. Rush hour never happens on that extra mile. You can call It ambition or whatever but the fact is that some people just want to be THE ONE in the job they do. It is rude to put them (us) down just as It is to put someone down who wants to be just average and I think she made that very clear. Make your dreams happen people! If you want to have Nobel prize or want to be the best stay-at-home mom/dad.
Normaly I get bored watsching these kind if videos but this realy felt like you where talking to me and it was so interessting and the things you where saying are so true and realistic ❤️
Don't know if it's a piscean thing but we stress out about work commitments but always push through and get everything done on schedule. I have this relentless work ethic, sometimes I have to remind myself to stop and rest.
Nisam skapirala koliko ti truda ulažeš u sve ovo. Svaka ti čast! Vidi se koliko si odgovorna i daleko ćeš dogurati. Prepametna si, milina te je slušati. Predstavljaš Srbiju na najbolji mogući način, i hvala ti na tome! ❤
And this right here ☝️is why you are my favourite!! So much drive, motivation and a strong sense of who you are and yet still so young 🙂 i actually started following you when i was at a low point nearly 2 yrs ago and i can honestly say watching you helped get me back on track. Not least because you reminded me to re-discover that you need to be authentic to you - in the personal and style sense and that comes across so much in your content. Thank you 😘
Pozdrav 👋🏻✌🏻️👸🏻
As a Peices like you i know exactly what u mean about works ethics. As a store manager in fashion jewellery when staff call being sick and finding out they were going out it killed me. I wish i can work with you. I really do. We met when in bond street ageeeees ago and u told me that i will get the job. I got accepted but i refused as i knew i can do better. Who knew i can manage my own store although on maternity now 👍
Thank you for sharing your perspective 😊 People are all so different in the way they approach life, and I find that kind of diversity such a beautiful and inspiring thing to observe - whether one agrees with something or not, it always makes you take a step back to think! xx
I love this comment, even if you disagree with me its a nice way to say it. Its just really interesting to see how we are different, and I wouldnt like to impose my views on anybody❤️
I love this video! Thank you for showcasing the realitiy behind how extremely successful people operate. I hugely admire your mentality and I hope that I can continue to chase success like you do.
This no sick day thing is pretty east European style discipline. These things are always cultural, self-care is an almost non existent part of success recipe in ee, mostly because the competition is high, institutions does not encourage such human well being first mentality and its survival of the fittest
You’re an inspiration girl 👍🏼😘It’s very hard to be the best of ourselves but it’s good to try . I’m in a beautiful and hard moment in my life at the moment because I still want to be very good at work but also my priorities have changed and be the best mum and wife is number one for me. So I work really hard all day long 😁( home and work) and it’s not easy but it’s worth it xxx
Your words have such a great power over us, your subscribers and followers and your awareness of that is simply amazing❤️ I don’t like to use the word “influencer”, but you cand trully be called one and it’s impressive how much you can change our lives!!❤️❤️ I tried to reach you on Instagram too, but you haven’t seen my message... I adore you and thank you for everything!! You’ve changed my life in such a positive way!!
This was an interesting watch & even more interesting to read the comments! Everyone is different & has different ideals & goals. The important thing to stay motivated & driven is to do something you love & are passionate about. Hugs Adele xoxo
@@TamaraKalinic :- I feel that you could have shared much better example of you being a disciplined person, this was sadly not the one which answers the question the way it should be.
Also i studied pharmacy and Spanish (two degrees at the same time) so no matter how much i studied I still had to study extra hard to make it all on time
@@TamaraKalinic It seems people want to know what magic you employed to get to where you are. There is discipline employed whether they recognise it or not, do you know what it takes to study all night? I've done it and I did manage my time as I was in full time employment as well. The piece and quiet nighttime gives you is invaluable and lots of students study throughout the night and believe me that takes dedication!
Thank you Tamara for this beautiful and motivating video 😘. Could you please do some video about books - what are you reading ? Have a beautiful day 🌞🌞🌞
Why do ppl hate it when others are honest. Tamara don’t get upset at what ppl are ignorant at your saying as a boss lady. I manage several business for my husband and my self. And as a boss I agree with everything you said. The best thing I learned as a boss/ employer Those that know “how “ are the employees and those that know “why “ are the employers!
A1H Agree with everything you've said. It is sad that it is expected if people to function like robots and nothing less.
Absolutely right. There are ways and ways to do things. And this is only one of them.
Tamara, I will be spamming till you reply: would you do a RUclips series of books you read ? ( Petition for this to happen )
Yes yes yes yes
Yessss, a book review!
Hope I do make a point ))
Srpski inat i mentalitet čine čuda. 😁
Imate srece susjedna Srbijo zaista vam je Tamara divan ambasador. 🙏❤️
Lijepa. Pametna. Svoja. Smjela.
This ☝🏻
I think its 100% fine to have a different opinion, but its also a little bit extreme to take it to this point.
But please tell me when did I say you need to compromise your health to work?? I would really love to understand this
@@TamaraKalinic you said it when you explained you were in severe pain during an event to the point where you were carried/had to crawl into your appartment, and you took it as a sign of excelling commitment to your job.

Do you have endometrioses as well?
100% agree with everything you said
The nost hardworking woman out there on youtube
You really do need to work in order to get anywhere in life, but please don't burn yourselves out. Work smarter, not harder. What can you do now that makes the biggest difference? Don't try to do everything, do not try to please everyone
really what motivate me is you tamara! i always comment in your videos that you inspire me and you really do
Tamara, the wisest, most intelligent voice among influencers right now.
I am not sure how people dont see the difference :(
Anyway i really appreciate your opinion, but this is my opinion and its absolutely fine to have different opinions❤️❤️
You are so right! Determination and perseverance are everything
Dear Tamara,
U dont need to justify anything to the haters.
I just love your mentality. 💙

Maria Tsipe I completely agree
Tamara I just wanted to say that you are very inspirational! I watch you all the time and often go back over your videos. I am a bit older than you and at a slightly different stage in my life but every time I watch you or see your stories etc you literally inspire me in some way, big or small. So thank you for being you 😊😘
Love this video. Never heard you speak like so, u r not just super fashionista but also intelligent and smart. Much love❤️
Loved the authenticity of this video!
Jaoooo, Tamara. Bas u pravom trenutku ovaj video. Hvala ti 😊
Have resilience and resistance. Very good advices. And perseverance.
Taking it back to the ‘old fashion basics’ of hard work and dedication. Love it! ♥️
For us a little older audience very good reminder of what should we do to be more successful in our own businesses. For younger audience listen very well to what Tamara is saying, time is the essence, use your time wisely, Always good to listen to you. Edit after reading comments: Wow, look at all these people being offended for being called 'average'.

100% agreeing with this video. We as human being can naturally can take it in so many different ways as we all have different views. But I am taking in all the positives and adapt the points that works for me 💕 ty Tamara, more of these videos as well as financial ones please 🙏🏽
Wow I love the idea where Netflix and RUclips is forbidden at home, only allowed at the gym. That is genius! I'll have to use this one❤️
I do that somewhat, but not as rigidly. I think I'll apply that more rigidly from now on. I'll be muscular as hell again (during my studies I actually allowed myself tv time only when doing exercise in front of the tv - can you imagine why I was super toned :D)
I love how real and strong minded you are. So thank you for this video😊❤️❤️
I appreciate your strong work ethics. I have similar but not to exaggerate because burnout is a real thing!

Don't know if it's a piscean thing but we stress out about work commitments but always push through and get everything done on schedule. I have this relentless work ethic, sometimes I have to remind myself to stop and rest.
Hmmm i am now wondering❤️
I love your style Tamara 💕
Obožavanje tebe i tvojih videa! ❤️
Love you and your style!!!Thank you for soooo intersting content for everyone!
Thank you so much for lovely words❤️
Sećam se kad sam tek čula za tebe nisi mi se svidela. Površno sam gledala na to zanimanje influensera. Nisam skapirala koliko ti truda ulažeš u sve ovo. Svaka ti čast! Vidi se koliko si odgovorna i daleko ćeš dogurati. Prepametna si, milina te je slušati. Predstavljaš Srbiju na najbolji mogući način, i hvala ti na tome! ❤
You are Awesome. Love your down to earth attitude which you have. It takes an intelligent person to explain big things in a simple way!
Genijalna si, oduševila sam se ovim videom!
Thank you 😘
Thank you Tamara for existing I just love to watch all your video but this video really changed my life focus and thank you for that ! ❤️
Completely agree with everything you say up to a certain point. After that it’s just unhealthy
Tarama , you are incredible!
Soul sister, I feel like a much needed friend telling me all these
Thank u Tamara, Always..🤗🤗
Loved watching this video. I feel so motivated now and will implement so much from this video in my own life
As a Peices like you i know exactly what u mean about works ethics.
Nemam rijeci ,sve sto si rekla je tako ✨💫💗
Tamara ovaj vidio je odličan! Super te je za slušati, puna si znanja, nemoj se uopće ustručavati češće snimati ovakav sadržaj ❤️
I love this video! Thank you for showcasing the realitiy behind how extremely successful people operate. I hugely admire your mentality and I hope that I can continue to chase success like you do.
Loved the insight into your background and your work ethic really shows!
This no sick day thing is pretty east European style discipline. These things are always cultural, self-care is an almost non existent part of success recipe in ee, mostly because the competition is high, institutions does not encourage such human well being first mentality and its survival of the fittest
the perfect video before starting uni ☺️
You’re an inspiration girl 👍🏼😘It’s very hard to be the best of ourselves but it’s good to try . I’m in a beautiful and hard moment in my life at the moment because I still want to be very good at work but also my priorities have changed and be the best mum and wife is number one for me. So I work really hard all day long 😁( home and work) and it’s not easy but it’s worth it xxx
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Great inspirational video, Tamara! I swear I'm going to watch this time to time as a reminder for myself! Keep it going!! xx
Yessss more Q&A’s please!!
This was an interesting watch & even more interesting to read the comments! Everyone is different & has different ideals & goals. The important thing to stay motivated & driven is to do something you love & are passionate about.
Hugs Adele xoxo
Studying entire night for exam doesn't mean you are disciplined .. it means you didn't study on time.
True that!!! But when i told myself i will study whole night - i kept that promise so in a way isnt it discipline?
Yep. Sounds like procrastination to me
Odličan video Tamara, bravo😀
Thank you Tamara for this beautiful and motivating video 😘. Could you please do some video about books - what are you reading ? Have a beautiful day 🌞🌞🌞
Tamara, how did you manage to film&upload this in 1 day? WOW!❤️
Such great advice! Love your train of thought, very inspiring and motivating.
Thank you for this video, it's very inspirational 😘
Yah!! Love Q&As vids 💕💕 💕
Why do ppl hate it when others are honest. Tamara don’t get upset at what ppl are ignorant at your saying as a boss lady. I manage several business for my husband and my self. And as a boss I agree with everything you said. The best thing I learned as a boss/ employer
Those that know “how “ are the employees and those that know “why “ are the employers!
You are so inspiring!!
