Quick question. I have Binance and I have a Revolut bank account. I live in uk. Can I deposit into Binance under a different currency such as AUD instead of GBP?
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Very clear, simple to follow and I successfully received my money via binance to my UK bank account. After months of not being able to access my funds due to issue with the UK banks and the cards being clocked, I am so thankful that your video has helped me solve this problem and receive my money 🙏
I'm very happy I could help 😊
Excellent video. It worked a treat!
Hey, yeah it's 8 digits number for bank account number and 6 digits sort code often showed like this (00-00-00). Preferably find someone who actually states using Monzo, would be easiest. :)
Has revolut been removed as I am not getting the option for it? If it has what would the next best option be?
Thank you very much for this video, really helpful and articulated perfectly.
Glad yo hear that and. Happy to help 😊
very helpful
I'm happy it works 😎
Worked !, I sold USDT to GBP. It took about 10 min before the cash was in my bank. It cost me about 4.2% for the privilege ,very expensive I think, but it all depends on what's being offered on the deal. I just wanted to try it out. It worked with the 2nd trader I picked.
Warning!!!!, the first P2P trader wanted to use a different name on the bank transfer. I refused to accept that as it breaks the rules, so the deal was cancelled. Tread carefully.
I'm glad it worked. Why 4.2% may I ask?
That was the difference between what USDT is currently valued at and what I was paid by the buyer (the commission I suppose). Also , I only managed to find one person willing to buy my USDT without using a “friends” account.
Make sense, and great to hear.
Thanks for making this video. Can a person have two different payment currency methods. For example one account is Australian and one is in usd?
Hey, well yeah, you can connect multiple payment methods to account with out a problem
What if I recieved the money but, the buyer's name doesn't match with the Binance account name?
Ok, so I'll be honest with you, in theory, you should report it. But.. I had a similar situation multiple times and never had issues. So kind of up to you :)
@@MadInvestor thanks 😀😀
Nice video
Thanks!
Hello, I can't seem to transfer GBP from spot to funding account, is it required? comes up with "asset no longer support"
Well, they don't support GBP anymore, so p2p directly puts it into your bank account, and crypto on binance. I would recommend trying the support, maybe they will be able to help if it's old amount
Thanks
Happy to help 😎🤝
2:28 how do I do this the other way around mate? So for example I have gbp on my account but want to transfer to USDT
Well, in simple terms you would reverse the process. Instead of choosing sell usdt you would buy it. And then follow the binance process. I'm gonna soon record a video about it :)
I just saw your other video, but still - what do I do if I have GBP on Binance? They don't allow me to withdraw or trade...
@@franekspeak953 my friend, I have recently been through this drama with Binance. I will make a video for how I got my money back after soo long
@@franekspeak953 basically, you need to manually connect your account to your chosen bank account using your IBan and Bic code
Hey thanks for the information, great video!
Just quick question: do we have to put “@“ in front of out Revtag ?
Thank you 🙏
You don't need to
well explained, I bought crypto with GBP, now sold for usdt, when I convert usdt to GBP, does it create a tax event or it will be one event when I sold it for usdt? Please answer, thanks
In the UK the tax event is where you dispose your crypto, however you do this. So in your case it's when you sold for USDT. Please mind that your gain is amount sold for - weighted average cost of the sold nominal, all denominated in GBP.
Example:
You sell 2 ETH, one purchased for GBP 1000, another for GBP 1200. You sell them for the price of USDT 2500 (which at the time equals GBP 2000). Your gain is 2x2000 - 2x1100 = 1800.
If you buy ETH back within 30 days, instead of the weighted average cost you take the price you bought it back for (so you might realise little gain or even a loss in that case).
@@franekspeak953 thanks for that, in my case I have bought through GBP then sold in Usdt then convert that usdt into GBP, Will it count 1 tax event or two as when I have sold crypto there was no GBP availability, please explain, thanks in advance.
so does that just end up straight into your revolut account? is this safe with higher sums?
Hey, yeah it does end up straight with your revolut. With higher amounts over 10k I always try to divide it
You have taken my stress away. Thanks a lot. Much appreciated 👍
Happy to help 😊
Hi there it seems like a good method to withdraw specially in UK. However lets say we have msde some food profits and we withdraw money using p2p through different individuals. Wont the banks try to be suspicious regarding source of funds, money laundering and layering etc. ? Any thoughts plz as wouldnt want the funds siezed.
Well, banks in UK are always suspicious when It comes to crypto. But P2P is a fully legal way to do it
I can't find revolut in payments methods, why?
It might be banned for some jurisdictions. Try Wise account as well, it works pretty good for me to
so my question is i bank with Halifax but that is not on binance but they are part of Lloyds am I ok to select Lloyds
I haven't tested that, but looking it's all fast payments it should be a problem. As transfer will arrive with similar speed. But I would recommending testing it out with small amount :)
Have you got this sorted as I’m trying to withdraw to a Halifax account also
hi mad investor, thanks for the video. I am using my uk bank account and gave the number in the order but people keep asking me for my bank account. should I be concerned? Is there any problem sending the account number?
(I saw in the video you were asked your revtag and you reverted back to telling the buyer that the tag was in the order itself).
I don't think there is a direct issue, as chat should be encrypted in the order. But... I wouldn't overshare ;)
Please sir let me know i am stuck i don't know what is ravtag
Revtag is the username, you can see it on the account
Kindly let me know what is ravtag
Revtag is a username.
You still can receive the money in your bank account when you sell some crypto through p2p without transfering spot wallet to funding right?
Well, when it comes to P2P it sell the amount from funding wallet. So if you hold money in spot wallet, you would need to transfer it to funding. Then you can do P2P transaction
@@MadInvestorhello I transferred money to the funding wallet and then followed your instructions but when I go to sell it says “Insufficient balance, please add funds to your funding wallet”
They should have left it as it were prior to the change straight forward simple and direct to your account. This new service Makes it that bit more risky losing your funds. But great video
True... And thank you
Thank you for information. Is is all good until I try to sell USDT. All the time shows me I don't have enough. Any idea why? Any help please?
Hey, make sure to transfer it from spot to funding wallet
@@MadInvestor Thank you! Was a big help, on the bank account number what should I use. UK have sort code and account number ÷ the 16 digits number.
@@MadInvestor I choose the bank transfer.
thaaaaaank you 😭
Happy to help!
My app looks nothing like yours. It's ridiculous how difficult they have made it to withdraw our own money.....
Try switching Pro/lite mode
Binance has become terrible. Can't withdraw anything. Collapse of a company.
If a buyer asks for my whatsapp number, should I give it to them or cancel the trade?
No, I wouldn't. The buyer has all the necessary info on the account and all communication should be on binance chat for safety
