We were a lot better off before the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION was created. The Secretary of Education is a political appointment, and means nothing about furthering education. In fact it’s dangerous, because the Executive branch of government can create detrimental changes to our school system from the Federal level, never taking into count the differences of communities. The Feds use the Dept. of Education to implement their socialist/Marxist agenda. This also affects those wanting to be teachers and what they are taught in college, and project onto your child.
