my first tie watching this channel, to all 25 of you who hit a thumb down answer me this.... When you where a teenager could you forge weld your own Damascus steel billet and then make a knife from it? I can't see anyone of them that will reply. Good skills Joe you have a future
Albertdog101 thanks
Albertdog101 I can but I liked the video
hell yeah!!!!!!!
This bladesmith has talent. Why anyone would give him a thumbs down is truly sad. He is a young man with drive and talent. He need to be encouraged, not ridiculed. Good job, Joe.
with all his tools isnt real hard xD
Great! Sick pattern man. Like :)
Black Beard Projects thanks bro😃🔨🤡
I'm totally addicted to your channel. Just can't believe your skills at such a young age. Keep putting a portion of your profits into good quality tools...use the rest to have fun while you're still young!
thanks bro ;)
You r so telented, man
Never seen any young man making so beautiful thing before
Blown away, Joe. You had a great master, or if you taught yourself, "Chapeau." Talent !!
Good job! Turned out super nice!
Simply beautiful, I hope one day be able to own one of your knives. Thanks for sharing your art!
Joe - you got the knack for making good looking knives. KUDOS, DUDE.
Wow that knife looks amazing! It’s inspiring to see someone so young doing such quality work. Great job and I thought the annotations were helpful during the video as well!
it is much more than a knife, looks like a piece of ART and BEAUTY. love your work man :)
Very good job my friend, I enjoyed the video. Sometimes people try to hide what they do best but to share your secrets, it tells so much good things about someone. Keep up the good things.
I got to say that’s pretty awesome work. I was expecting you to be a little older, Way to go man! Keep up the good work that’s a beautiful knife.
Beautiful knife bro. Not the biggest fan of the scales but the knife rocks. Being a professional chef most my life i can appreciate a quality knife!
That is a beautiful knife 😊 That was therapy. Thanks for the upload 👍

most beautiful kichen knife what i even seen
whow, great job like you did for 50 years ;-) very good!
that looks very cool Joe, nice job!
Класс,отличный нож!!!
With regular use, do you find that the Damascus edge wears unevenly? Or do you sharpen often enough to not notice?
Been watching you for some time now and you have what it takes my young friend ,
Only one thing I'd change is when you grind the profile on you're 2x72 I would aim the tip down so you have less risk of the tip catching and ending up in you're chest
Keep it up bud
that is one sick looking knife!
Dude just wow! awesome knife!
That’s a beast! Great job mate 👍🏻
Well done you should be very proud!

Wow Joe,🤙, that's a beautiful knife that you made. Very nice.

Thanks
Sir.Tony Blair jr 15 years old
I like the angled bolster, a good grip but still a nice sharp heel on the blade.
Awesome work young man
I’m trying to make my first knife out of a file just to see how it goes but I’m having trouble getting it flat before I grind in the bevels as I am working with a 1x30.
Wow man! You did a great job on that knife! I love blades, I have a tomahawk. It's a Puma axe. It works really really well.
Amazing skills and equipment and a beautiful knife, especially considering your age! one little tip, don't put a glove on your right hand when you're forging ,you have way less control and feel of the hammer and it feels awkward and clumsy :)
Try working with a contact wheel on your grinder, you can get a much better palm swell on the handle.
Hii joe... Exellent work.. How much time take to do this work?
Nice work. Good looking knife !
nice job grinding those bevels without a jig, not easy to get them right but you did a great job.
Very beautiful knife young lad! Was it your first time grinding a chef's knife ? Was the bevel challenging to grind?
Great!!! Nice knife.

This is awesome but it would be cool to make Damascus like man At arms where the fold it and use some water on the anvil to pop the scale off
Why does you quench it in oil^^ Sorry for that question^^ but nice Video!!

Professional good job!
