Grandchildren are awesome all the spoiling without the angst of teenagers 😂😂. I really enjoyed the inquisitive years between 4 and 10 when they just wanted to help in the garden. I think a glass half full approach to life is definitely helpful in all aspects. I switched to be more grateful for what I have a few months ago and it really helped my mental health. So far, I am so blessed that all of my great grandchildren live near me. I am going to have 11 great grandchildren in June. I am so excited my oldest grandchild is eight years old and my youngest ones are still in their mommies three new great grandbabies all the same I am so blessed. I know that you will get to see more of your grandchildren in the future may have to travel, but you will get to see them. We’re blessed not our families.

When we moved here I left my daughter ad 4 grandchildren . it was a bit difficult but technology is wonderful and we kept in touch that way and when they came for a visit it was a fun vacation. The Miss Rachel doll is so cute! Miles will love it. I smiled at your second story because I did the same to a fellow youtuber who was releasing vertical videos. I FaceTime with my siblings and nephews quite often. It’s fabulous- otherwise, I am pretty much an introvert and love being alone though miss being there for them. It does hurt a bit they are so far away. I’ll be checking out creating change 😃👍 good vibes. Funny story 😂

Hi Krista! First of all, I just want to apologize if I came across as somehow rude or troll-like on your video about changing your channel name. I read a lot of comments, not necessarily calling me out by name, but I got the direction they were intended towards. I meant only to stir up your creativity a little, I always liked the "almost" aspect of your original name & you came around by adding it to your new off grid name. Congratulations for remaining unique amongst all the other off grid channels. And happy birthday to your grandson, I know you're very proud, as you should be! We all embellish a bit on our channel names & RUclips strategy. I don't live in that iconic mountain shack that my name & intro implies, but it's a little artistic license. My home is basically a shack compared to other homes in my neighborhood & it's surrounded by mountains as well as farmland & pastures. 477 square feet only, so I think I can rightly call it a shack in the mountains. I'm lucky, I own 2 homes considered legally as only one. They're completely separate, but share the utilities & same address & services. My tenants who live in the larger home pay my mortgage & half utilities with our cost sharing arrangement. So I could never say I'm off grid, but I do live humble I think in God's eyes. And I'm never lonely with 4 catbillies constantly keeping me busy with their antics & just plain tearing up my little abode. We have snow here, a couple of inches & it's been cold. Nothing like y'all experience regularly, & we're finally going above freezing for the first time in 4 days, which for us is definitely unusual. You called it on your previous weather outlook video, Krista! We're so used to no big deal here in winter, that when we get a little snow & temps in the single F° digits, it suddenly IS a big deal, hehehe! I'm mostly curious about all those little bottles on the wall hanging behind you. They don't look like spices, they look to be homeopathic of some kind. My girlfriend has almost the same looking arrangement of little bottles of natural remedies for anything you can think of. She's currently in Utah at a homeopathic conference. So I'm curious about them. If I'm right, would you do a video on the subject? Or at least let me know what they are if I'm wrong? Happy Saturday to you & all y'all's family & friends. Hi Krista, I'm sorry I'm a bit late in watching this. It's so nice you can make a video and little Miles can watch it and rewatch it. Will be so special for him. When we moved here I left my daughter ad 4 grandchildren . it was a bit difficult but technology is wonderful and we kept in touch that way and when they came for a visit it was a fun vacation. The Miss Rachel doll is so cute! Miles will love it. I smiled at your second story because I did the same to a fellow youtuber who was releasing vertical videos. I also suggested she try horizontal and it was so nice to be able to view it better. I'll definitely check out that channel. Thank you Krista for sharing your heart. Hi Krista! First of all, I just want to apologize if I came across as somehow rude or troll-like on your video about changing your channel name. I read a lot of comments, not necessarily calling me out by name, but I got the direction they were intended towards. I meant only to stir up your creativity a little, I always liked the "almost" aspect of your original name & you came around by adding it to your new off grid name. Congratulations for remaining unique amongst all the other off grid channels. And happy birthday to your grandson, I know you're very proud, as you should be! We all embellish a bit on our channel names & RUclips strategy. I don't live in that iconic mountain shack that my name & intro implies, but it's a little artistic license. My home is basically a shack compared to other homes in my neighborhood & it's surrounded by mountains as well as farmland & pastures. 477 square feet only, so I think I can rightly call it a shack in the mountains. I'm lucky, I own 2 homes considered legally as only one. They're completely separate, but share the utilities & same address & services. My tenants who live in the larger home pay my mortgage & half utilities with our cost sharing arrangement. So I could never say I'm off grid, but I do live humble I think in God's eyes. And I'm never lonely with 4 catbillies constantly keeping me busy with their antics & just plain tearing up my little abode. We have snow here, a couple of inches & it's been cold. Nothing like y'all experience regularly, & we're finally going above freezing for the first time in 4 days, which for us is definitely unusual. You called it on your previous weather outlook video, Krista! We're so used to no big deal here in winter, that when we get a little snow & temps in the single F° digits, it suddenly IS a big deal, hehehe!
I'm mostly curious about all those little bottles on the wall hanging behind you. They don't look like spices, they look to be homeopathic of some kind. My girlfriend has almost the same looking arrangement of little bottles of natural remedies for anything you can think of. She's currently in Utah at a homeopathic conference. So I'm curious about them. If I'm right, would you do a video on the subject? Or at least let me know what they are if I'm wrong?
