Hey guys, as somebody struggling with alcohol abuse I really love your channel and the message you are putting out there but if I may offer one small observation about this video - I feel the little snippet photos and clips added in when she is talking really take the viewers connection with her story away and almost make the video feel cheesy. I don't mean to bash at all but just an observation and made me want to click off. Sorry! Love you guys though. 💕

Awesome work, you are proof that sobriety can be achieved in the face of adversity!!! What a fantastic achievement, thank you for sharing your story. Before we were together, and before I was sober, I told my 🥰 (who was my gym buddy at the time) that if I were to start a new relationship it would need to be with someone sober...he quit 'to get the girl' but has seen phenomenal improvements in his life, his mental health and mental clarity - same as me! We are pursuing growth and being our authentic selves, and we never want to go back! He's over 15 months and I'm over 13, we're starting our new life together properly in the new year with an emphasis on removing ultra processed crap and fuelling ourselves with real food. We do recover!

My story is the same in a lot of ways met Jesus and it all changed. I even took my son to ball games after drinking so kind of the same thing nothing God can help change if you just allow him to help you. Many said I wouldn’t stop until I killed myself drinking even doctors told me I had 3 months to live. This was 7 years ago and now seven years sober. Still have bouts of depression and anxiety the Lord still working on me

Yah that's the problem people who even grew up well and would be against drugs scared of drugs even cigarettes I was too all my life but when it comes to alcohol it's so accepted in society you would not think it's world's dangerous drug actually. All Most all people who just drank occasionally ended up drinking too much.

I am a month post quitting. The withdrawal process is brutal. I had only been drinking off and on for a few years and I'm 75! My whole life I never drank. The fatigue and itching is driving me mad. Nothing I'm doing is helping, yet I refuse to drink. I don't know what else to do to start feeling even a little better. I'm taking supplements, lots of green tea/dandelion root/detox teas. I take the Gabba (though I understand it doesn't pass the blood brain barrier very well). I've been taking NAC and milk thistle for years, started turmeric. I say a month past stopping, but before that it was 3 weeks without, before that only a few times, so I don't understand what is happening. I feel worse every day, but still will not drink. I am so discouraged.

Be sure to eat fresh, healthy food! Supplements can be great, but if you don't get that real chow into your gut, you're gonna keep dragging.
Everybody is different, but you should be feeling better by now, especially if you were only drinking occasionally...maybe the itching and sleeplessness is due to something else.
Hang in there, and get some help. Everybody needs a little help now and then. AA saved my life.

You're doing great and just need a bit more strategic customization to your post-acute withdrawal syndrome plan. I would watch this ASAP and go from there. It will help you fill in the missing pieces. You can email me at matt@fitrecovery.com if you need guidance. -Matt | Watch: ruclips.net/video/10WdlMU4OAo/видео.htmlsi=fEXTCfe9P9u5SMCO

I think it's a good idea to speak to your health practitioner and get some bloods done, check on your liver and kidneys as they and the skin are the biggest organs for detoxification. You could even be reacting to one of the teas....but the body can take a lot of healing, and it may just be time that is needed. Great attitude, we just need to not drink today!

    • @Tara-q7o9o
      @Tara-q7o9o Месяц назад +2

At about two months sober the liver starts to detoxify and the healing starts. This takes a few months and due to your age could take longer! Drink lots of water, try to drink a minimum of 2 litres a day. You need to start supplementing with B1 immediately. Hope u feel better soon. ❤

People do not realize.. The difference between a heavy drinker and the full-blown alcoholic..
A heavy drinker takes the hangover in the morning.
The alcoholic chooses Alcohol to Bypass the hangover...
    right into the poisoning phase..
My friend drinks in the morning, when she gets up.
Every day. Her morning kit is three to five beers.
Appearing sober, her blood alcohol at her morning medical check-ups...
    is often 0.24.
