    • @erpringle
      @erpringle Год назад +1

      @@drzzit9666 I don't know why people can't get it through their heads that the motor is not what determines the wattage, it's the controller. A 750 watt motor is rated at that but it's the same motor as the 1000 watt motor 99%of the time. Amps times volts determines watts and most of the time that 750 watt motor is capable of upwards of 1800 watts without getting too hot.

    • @microreniassance2929
      @microreniassance2929 Год назад

      For those concerned about the 750 watt motor the motor puts out 1,090 Watts even though it's rated at only 750. It's been tested and that's the output at full acceleration or full power. Like someone said it's the controller that specifies the wattage. You can feed any amount of watts to that motor it's just if you go too high it's going to fry the motor.

      The 52v makes more of a day in the power than the power rating, but using the extra voltage rather than amps will make the battery last significantly longer.

    Good video! Bike looks great but it's geared to low for the highest gear with a 42t chainring and a 14t rear sprocket gear. A bike with this power needs a 52t to 11t like the Kepler. Much more comfortable with slower cadence at the highest speeds. I don't know why Magicycle picked this gearing for it. You were pedaling way to fast trying to reach 28mph imo.

      I know what Kepler is and what the specs are as well as other bike companies as I follow this. You have an agenda because you are in all the threads quoting the exact same thing word for word. I didn't read much of your comment because you are rambling. Stop trying to persuade people so aggressively and to address Ariel Ryder the Kepler is back ordered and there are massive complaints about people not having any info from them on when they are getting bikes. Some have been waiting 4 months as well as receiving no CS once they get the bikes because they have problems that aren't being addressed by the company. People are saying they are like a Chinese drop ship company and once you get it the transaction is done. What warranty? Be a better person

I have a burning question that I'm sure many people looking to buy will ask you now that you have reviewed the latest ebikes ... Would you pick the magicycle or Himingway or Rad 6 plus ? all step thru... I am partial to Himingway but please relay your thoughts because I have some reservations about the magicycle having its controller on the outside front of the forward frame.... seems like trouble over the long run...
    Thankyou in advance for your reply.

    • @EbikeEscape
      @EbikeEscape  2 года назад +3

      Rad is going to have the largest customer service team, which is something that can’t be downplayed. However there are faster and better spec’d bikes on the market.
      Himiway has continually impressed us with their bikes. They seem to have some great value and pretty high feature sets for the price.
      MagiCycle uses a 52v system. Once you have ridden a 52v ebike, it is hard to go back. The controller being on the outside is a double edged sword. If you are just riding fire roads and around paved roads, it will not be a issue. And even in the case where there is a accident with it, at least it is easy to get to to replace…… unlike some other brands where it is tucked way up in the head tube.
      What I am getting at here, is without knowing your exact situation and knowing what you value about ebikes or the companies, I can’t give you an exact answer. However I hope the above column helps you at least a little bit with your decision. -JT

I believe if they are to release anything new it might be something based around the RadRunner or it could be something new entirely. Not sure if it will be later this year or early next year. I keep seeing many good reviews on it and it just seems sooo similar to the magicycle cruser pro, but im actually curious on how both could be compared to each other due to how similar they seem. Though the keplar does have a better/safer placement for the computer, and has those adjustable handbar stem like you wished magicycle had. seems to have more torque, and speed, while also being able to throttle over 20 mph (not that you should), and its 100 dollars less. I asked to return it these guy said it has to be less than 10 miles and when i talked to the agent about returning it he never mentioned once about riding it less than 10 miles for it to be accepted for return. It's like their hiding that 10 miles so if you go past it you have no other option but to pay for a bike u don't like. In addition, I ordered a front basket with this bike and it's been 4 weeks and I still haven't received it. Also, the free bag didn't come till after 21 days. @@EbikeEscape if you upgraded the controller to a 33 amp instead of the weak ass 20 amp in the magicycle, it would be the same bike. The only reason the motor peaks at 1000 watts is the 20 amp controller. Do the math, 20x52 is 1040 watts. If you put a 30 amp controller in it you would have 1560 watts peak power. Amps x volts = watts. That motor is quite capable of 2000 watts without running too hot, trust me.
