Doesn't this tool could scratch the winding crown the way it grabs it?
It s plastic inside... For Plated case. crown is even better because you reduce the risk to remove the plating from the crown and the case.
what is the size for divers watch citizen pro master
Why wouldn't you just wind it with your fingers?
im looking into getting something like this because winding it with my fingers isn’t really comfortable. Not everyone’s fingers can grab that little crown
Cos, as a pro, if you do it 300 turns a day or more, many watches, then your fingers get rekt
I assume if a watch has crown protectors then this tool won't work?
You clearly haven't wound a watch on the regular. So many watches-especially dress watches-come with the tiniest of the crowns, and unless you have some crazy callouses all over your fingers those sharp knurling hurts like a bitch after
I've just ordered a cheap one but don't fancy the metal collet near my watch cases.
So I went into the shed and cut off a piece of Shimano brake bleed hose and et voilà it works a treat and no damage to the case.
