Definitely not K-Pop, these ladies know how to rock. They've done some great covers too, bands like Paramore and Skid Row, definitely worth checking out ! 🤘🤘
The best thing about this song is that not only did they write it themselves, each member wrote their own part since they're each most familiar with their own instruments.
Couple of things. 1. About the same time that you were releasing this video, Rolling Quartz was in the middle of a livestream concert. Wasn't too bad...though, when I was watching it, the audio and video were painfully out of sync so I abandoned watching the concert. But, what they have up on their channel from last night is in sync and sounds pretty good. And someone has already mentioned Paramore relative to Rolling Quartz...and that's what they started their livestream with. Very not bad. 2. When I first heard this song, I knew that it was going to be a song that I was never going to get away from...it was (and still is) catchy as hell. And, it's one of those songs that I recommend to people looking for something a little different.
Great reaction!! 👍 I enjoyed your LoveBites reactions and I am so glad you found Rolling Quartz. Please check out "Good Night" cover of Dreamcatcher. If you haven't, you also got to check out the group Dreamcatcher as well. Peace ✌ and rock on 🤘 bro.
Thanks for the reaction. Check out Pink Fantasy - Poison Dreamcatcher - Endless night And PIXY - Wings (K-pop with a little rock/metal) I think you will like them.
I love your knowledge of music. So many Americans have reacted to this very talented indie band on a very small Korean Music Label. Just some updates and fun info. A year a later. 1. (Rolling Quartz) 5+ Live RUclips concerts you can watch. 2. They usually open with this song and close with (Skid Row) Youth Gone Wild. 3. The guitars will blow your mind in their version of (Skid Row) Youth Gone Wild. TC.
Hi, I know it’s been a long time coming. K-metal does exist, although to make it popular in Sth Korea in my humble opinion is a big ask. Still, if you are interested, check out Rolling Quartz latest single ‘Fearless’ to see what the girls, including the two guitarists can do in Korea. I checked out their private websites, their skill is far beyond that. In my opinion as they are Indy (not Idol), they just want to push rock, as far as they can in Korea without risking their existence. Enjoy, cheers
There are rock and metal bands in S. Korea, they just aren't promoted by the big 3 agencies, hence not popular. Solo artist AleXa did a rock version of her debut song "Bomb" with a S. Korean metal band called Diablo, it might be worth your while to react to the original and rock versions back-to-back.
you should check out dreamcatcher \:D/ their sound is more fusion of all types of genres but have rock/metal influences in most of their songs. all their songs are different so it's hard to recommend a start. their debut song is 'chase me'. if you want something more straight rock and less genre mixing, try 'endless night'. their latest title release is 'because' which is more pop-rock but no less interesting.
Thank you for reaction to Rolling Quartz. The definition of K-pop is ambiguous. Generally recognized by international fans, K-pop features dance, rap parts, layered vocals, and well-made MVs. From this point of view, Rolling Quartz is considered K-Rock, not K-Pop. Previously, I recommended Dreamcatcher's songs to you, Dreamcatcher uses a rock sound within the K-pop boundary. I hope you've heard Dreamcatcher's Endless Nights. This song is a mix of K-pop and J-rock.
Hmmm a K-rock idol group... intresting Production wise, it definitely looks like a jacked k-pop music video, but don't get me wrong though. These girls can bring the rock!

I really like this band. They got the talent for sure and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for reacting to this video.
my first listen to the band - I really liked it. Waiting for more to come...

Jayoung's (the lead singer) voice is made for rock! Watch Azalea and how she moves as she sings - just amazing!

AleXa ALSO collaborated with Rolling Quartz on her more recent song "Xtra", which has an MV and a "self bootleg" clipped from RQ's online concert.

They're actually not an idol group. They came together on their own.
