I am unable to render it with ray tracing. Whenever I'm trying to do it, AI stops responding. Do you know what could be the possible reason behind that?
Reason is, you don't have 3D graphics card in your system.

My star doesn't look like you're, it doesn't inflate with the background or only the background inflates
group them together first
You need to group both to apply the effect
You have to first clipping mask to both of them then apply the effects. It will definitely work
hi, I got a new I7 PC with 32 gigs of ram with envy graphics card with 2 dedicated gigs. The problem it gives me is that when I go to render it puts me naturally on the image all the eps of the pixels in the image of the squares throughout the photo. What could it be. 3D material option is not showing 😭😭
My backround doesnt change at all when I press inflate. Only the shape inflates even after I group them. Do you know how to fix this?
Did you Group the background with the image?
Does RTX gpu helps in any way in render times? With my GTx 980, it renders only on the CPU and does not use GPU.
Whenever I try this, the star or any other graphic I have as top layer disappears as soon as I hit Inflate - edit - that is with them grouped as well

Whenever Im trying to render a simple star AI stops and closes. But I have rtx 3070, 32gb ram and i7 12700, what could be the problem? Do I have to config sth on Ilustrator?

@@akanshagujrati1509 figure out you need to use different colors on the objects, just a tiny difference is enough. Otherwise it seems illustrator don't recognise that there are several objects in the 3d scene. Objects also need to be grouped.

yes, you need to have a compatible graphics card installed on your computer. but first, check if your illustrator is updated to 2023

My artboard = 9.3*8.2 in
After Press Render CPU working 100% 2-4min.
3060ti dont help with render

maybe have a look at export settings... if its on cymk change it to RGB or from RGB to cymk
