One thing is telling the truth, and nothing but the truth. (A Caucasian manipulative wording, cause that's something they can hardly do, telling the truth) yet! You're trying to convince yourself that it was their duty to build our Africa, yeah!! Right... wait till kingdom come. Stop being corrupted, there is so much money in each African country but by the time it goes through each country administration and their private funds nothing is left for infrastructure and youth and employment so we are left with potholes and overcrowded unhealthy urban migration centres.

I've tried for Algeria to go Europe as well. Am a young guy who had always wished to school out of my country (Liberia)immediately after my graduation, I embarked on that journey but got stuck along the way heading for Mali through Conakry routes. I got stuck because never had enough money and also it was the time war was in Algeria but I feared it not bcuz I wanted to go and make a living out there. God knows why it didn't work! My other friends went and reached Algeria, some were made it to Europe unfortunately for some they didn't make it and had to return back home. Am presently in China studying as I'd wished, God has a plan and purpose for your life. Stay strong and determine

Wow I'm so glad you made this video. Many many of our people make the perilous and dangerous journey and loose their lives in the process. For many they are exploited and end up in detention centres and are deported. My message to anyone wishing to go the back way is stay at home. If you can pay to go the back way you can start a business. It costs 50,000.00 Dalasies for the journey, your money could be put to better use. I've seen intelligent African migrants working in menial jobs for very little money putting up with racial and physical abuse. I've seen them sleeping rough and in police stations and train stations and shopping centres. I've seen illegal immigrants kept in prisons and treated like criminals. It's not worth it, if you can travel do it the right way not the back way. Immigration makes it hard for citizens of African countries to enter Europe or obtain Visa's. This discrimination is intentional, much like what they recently did in deporting people from the Caribbean.

Whats wrong with you Gambian people? Zambians for instance, and the rest of Southern African countries , including South Africa, take return flights, TO & FROM Europe, America or Asia, with valid travel documents and visas. Why do you W.Africans use rickety boats and risk your lives, just to end up begging on the streets of europe, become prostitutes, or live in fear of being arrested and deported back to your countries since you entered illeagly!? In most of the countries you are running to, West Africans only go out to buy food once they enter europe, they fear to go out any other time and enjoy europe like the europeans enjoy Africa, because they dont feel free. When they go out, the europeans dont want to see them there,, therefore Africans face rascim, ...just the other day- a lone 23yrs old Gambian migrant was beaten "black & blue" by two huge white men before he later woke up in hospital, No one was arrested for the attack. STAY HOME AND BUILD YOUR COUNTRIES! HOME IS BEST! MAKE AFRICA THE PARADISE ON EARTH FOR YOURSELVES. AFRICA IS THE ONLY PLACE AFRICANS GET RESPECT!

It's time for we Africans to be fruitful in life and not seedful. To be fruitful means productivity. Absence of productivity is the root cause of poverty. Be fruitful in your area of gifting and not seedful in childbearing, and by so doing we can reduce poverty in our continent Africa.

Shame what some Africans have to go through in search of a decent life.
Those that are lucky to over come the hurdle getting to western countries only to find out that life isn't even greener.
Let make Africa great that our people and future generations of Africans don't go through these unnecessary journeys.
Life is precious and we couldn't waste it.

Thank you Wode Maya for this. It is tragic that some Africans have to struggle like this to get to a better life in Europe. If Africa was better organised economically, they wouldn't have to do this. I hope this man gets to make his documentary film about this issue. Wode Maya - I really love the way that your vlogs are becoming like mini investigative features. It's great!

Europe is not all cracked up to be, as for the "better life" the European population are trying to get a better life too but their is a rise of unemployment, homelessness and poverty, the lady in the last video mentioned it but no a lot of people in the comments section are taking heed. The Europe especially the EU is a ponzy scheme so those at the bottom keep the ones at the top rich. The rich don't want to really give the working class of Europe a pay rise hence they let Africans come the back way so they can payless, the more people come the wages will be suppressed plus they get a choice to higher and fire on a whim. You want a stable job for a "better life" that's going fast they have machines doing the jobs just so they don't have to pay any workers and it's cheaper. If you're an elite you'll have a better life if not it servival, that's why the lady in his last video came to Gambia.
