Kohta Yamamoto's music really fits the season 4 atmosphere. Hiroyuki's music fits the early season so much too. I am glad the music director took that leap of faith to trust Kohta with the music. I remember toxic anime fans bash Kohta amd the staff because of the changing of the composer in charge for the music. Glad to see everyone is giving Kohta that recognition he deserves. ( I am a Yuki Kajiura fan )

The music for season 4 is good, but sometimes is overused and doesn’t fit the scene. However that doesn’t make him a bad composer just a composer who’s still learning. He’s good and will get better as time goes by.

I would low-key argue that the more prominent violin to sub for the vocals should defo be in there as an alternate version in the show, that was so much more personal and haunting but still carried the same message vs the more epic war like vocals.
this song is very dramatic in certain scenes. This accompaniment music was released at the beginning of season 4 during the conquest of Fort Slava. This music is more appropriate as a gift to Reiner Braun when he turns into an Armored Titan to destroy the Slava wall. his determination to keep going and his fighting spirit is high, he is very worthy of ashes on the fire. this is an extraordinary masterpiece. This can also be seen when Reiner saves Galliard who is about to be eaten by Eren in episode 7
The soundtrack for AOT is incredible. Every piece of music fits the scene and the action perfectly. It's a perfect show.
