i am from Bihar. we have only 3 airport in the state and one of those open in recent time. And we are dreaming of having 5 metro system
In Hyderabad only one airport and one officials airport
We deserve one more airport atleast now we had half mp’s in state hope this 5 years may sanction one

For those who are saying why metro in low population area
They are just taking about the main city gaya where population is 6lakh but if if you consider whole gaya district the population is 42 lakhs
And that is just the local population almost 5 lakhs tourist visits gaya yearly out of which 60 to 70 percent is international tourist and also there are many people working in gaya but they are not living there they travel daily
Any train or bus in bihar is overloaded which has a route to gaya
So in Gaya acc to me metro can be build and also they can generate profits
And think the area were lakhs of foreign tourist visit yearly shouldnt have a good transport system ?
If the approval have been given then most probably it is first given to Gaya

Metro in 3-5L populated villages wow meanwhile Nashik vadodara and coimbatore chandigarh
Coimbatore is building Metro. And Feasibility study is going on to build Metro in Chandigarh and Vadodara. And in Bihar feasibility study will be done. Permission to build Metro does not mean that centre will start building Metro.

@@akimator9641 Did you even read my comment? Approval to build metro has been given to Nashik and Vadodara also. If approval is not given, not a penny is spent on feasibility study. It takes 4 to 5 crore rupees to do that.

Gaya city - 9440 / km ^2
Bhagalpur district - 23 lakhs 1182 / km^2
Darbhanga district - 39 lakhs 1721 / km^2
And remember this is just the local population not of the tourist and people wo migrate on daily basis

I am from Bodh Gaya and due to its immense tourist footprint, metro system in Gaya wouldn't only be a profitable means of public transport, it will pave way for a more conducive international tourism industry.
