You can save some time by escaping to the menu while you're in the elevator and waiting for the bridge animation. They'll still run in the background.

How can you play with this framerate?

Actually, the game is running at least at 30 fps, but on record it looks like this. After this record I figured out, that I can obtain normal framerate only when recording BABBDI with Fraps
